Design/concept-wise I find Keine to be boring, but I don't dislike her. Same with Mamizou, Seiga and Futo, but I kinda like them.

Yuuka, yuuka, yuuka hands down. A trolling bitch and a sociopath with a hair trigger temper, who thinks nothing about genoicide as fun, outed by PMiSS as *the* most human-hating character. Her portrayal as one of the strongest 2hu makes no fucking sense. And finally, she looks like crap, with that eye-searing red skirt, her looking like the oldest character in the series and being so prone to wearing a rape face. Thankfully, I can just forget about her when not playing PoFV.

Next one would be Sakuya. Bland attire, also looks far too old for her stated age, has little personality, broken ability that defines her more than anything else about her, murders humans for food, and is cold to many characters outside SDM, with fanon interpretations making her a particular bitch towards Sanae and Meiling, two of my favorites.

I also don't really like Cirno, but that's more "god, she's so annoying and so arrogant I would kill her after 5 minutes with her" that open hatred.

Really not a fan of human-eaters like Rumia or Mystia, but I don't care about them enough to feel they deserve elaboration.

Tewi is one of the kindest Touhous to humans. She grants them luck and helps them if they are lost in the forest. Why would you dislike her?

I think she looks like she could be 16-20. It's also not a real reason to dislike something.

Not liking humans is fine. Killing them for a youkai is not, especially if you're a human yourself. There's a reason it's considered the worst crime one may commit in our world, and it hints at her being depraved and desensitized to some degree.

Her being able to stop time is lucky win in the superpower lottery, and as I said, the ONLY interesting thing about her, at least as long as ZUN won't reveal her past. Compare Alice's interest in dolls, Sanae's imagination or Marisa's curiosity towards magic, which wouldn't disappear if they lost their powers.

Yeah, that and her being one of the worst 2hus apperance-wise in my eyes, which is subjectvie and I do not expect people to share that view, just to acknowledge it.
I mean, I tried to like her, but I just cannot root for her in any meaningful way for the life of me. I can appreciate the creativity with which she uses her powers - the magic tricks and tricky danmaku patterns (not in fighting games though, where she is mostly just brutal instead, and rather pragmatic with moves like crushing the opponents' feet with a heel), but as of now I have no reason to play her, care for her, and I sure as hell wouldn't like to meet her.

Frankly the entire EoSD group's outfits are pretty plain compared to later games. There's not much else to it.

Touhou follows the rule of crazy shades of animu hair colors, Sakuya having white/gray hair has nothing to do with her age. As for her outfit, its just the typical maid uniform most likely because that's exactly what Remilia wants. For gods sake, it was her idea to stuff the mansion with useless fairies in similar maid outfits because a mansion should have a lot of maids.

Have we ever actually seen anything alluding to that kind of behavior though? The only thing that really comes to mind is a couple of random pre/post battle lines from the games.

She's always seemed more like exactly what a human who's grown up around and serving vampires and monsters rather than other humans would turn out. She's somewhat asocial, keeping up the Perfect and Elegant maid appearance to keep outsiders at arm's length. Though she's started to become more friendly with other characters since the earlier games.

Meiling's ending from 12.3 still stands as the shining counterexample to all the people who seem to think Sakuya is just cold and murdercrazy.

I don't hate anyone or dislike any of the characters, mostly.

But there is one person who probably fits in that "least likable" category, which would be Parsee.

She's a rather tragic figure, having been deeply in love with a man and was betrayed. But her jealousy consumed her basically. Not only that, she's become a person who speaks decently to others then talks behind their back. She's a very weak person and she has no friends because of her behavior, or maybe she just chooses that way of life due to having trust issues or because of having been so scarred from being betrayed.

Also, I still don't see why secondary yurifuckers pair her up with Yuugi when it's obvious that someone strong like Yuugi would hate someone like Parsee or won't even acknowledge her.

Though I say things like that, I can't hate her. Her backstory is really sad that I'd be able to shed a tear for her. Maybe if she found another man that can truly love maybe, maybe she'll be happy again.

I'm not so sure about the personality you give her. It's canon her ability gives luck to humans, but that means more she can just get away with tricking people than that she is nice. A nice person wouldn't scam people on a regular basis, it's just there is nothing that makes me like her. Considering Inaba of the moon and earth, I must say that one made me dislike her, mainly because I like Reisen, but that's the thing with subjective opinion. There are of course fan depictions of Tewi I like, but you can make any character likable or not when you are a decent author. It still remains that she is shown as a mean asshole probably more than any other character in fanworks, and even if you want to act like doujins don't matter, they too form the opinion through your exposure to it.
What I find more annoying is, that nearly noone makes more out of her character than a simple mean one. Being a prankster could mean karma strikes back and one could make a story about how she deals with that.

There are quite a few characters I have in neutral state, since they lack any likeable or interesting features but don't have anything that makes me dislike them. I dislike the moonbitches the most, the whole cheating-like way how they beat everyone just puts me off and they don't have a single redeeming feature in my opinion.

All the pre/post combat dialogues are, as we've already talked about in this thread before, just the usual shittalking between characters that everyone does.

Meanwhile she went out of her way to help get the Hakurei Shrine rebuilt in SWR, and is relatively friendly towards Marisa when she stops by the Mansion.

I'm not trying to say she's super chummy with half of Gensokyo, she DOES start out a bit cold and uncaring to anything not related to serving Remilia. But she has gotten much more friendly since.
