I miss the /jp/ from years ago. Right now it seems like a ghost town. A sterilized version of what it used to be. There hardly seem to be any replies.

This sort of thing comes around almost every year, but this year it's come early and it seems especially bad. I feel horrible. I can't stop sweating, my hands are shaking, my speech has become more slurred over the past few days, my limbs and eyes are twitching, and worst of all there's this overwhelming feeling of utter doom and uselessness. I'm tired. I just want to stay in bed and post on the /jp/ I knew. I just want to stay in bed and watch stuff that ends happily. Watch Disney movies, watch select anime series, listen to certain music, play certain videogames from my childhood, and watch certain comforting TV shows. Those are a few things that I do yearly to help myself but I don't know how this year will be.

Perhaps most of all I just want someone to reply to, and someone to reply to me. I don't want an email, Skype, or Steam friend. I just want the old /jp/ back. I want things to be how they used to be.

I could snap at any moment and just beat somebody to a pulp who pisses me off even a little.

Faggots are afraid of me, I am exactly like the Driver, although nobody has given me a chance to display my bottled up fury.

I think it would be a neat experiment to see if it actually worked though... make a 4chan-like board that basically only accepted new users on the first of every September. I wonder if it would filter out the people who just wanted to shitpost all along or if it would die quickly from disuse. Maybe news would get out and someone would post it on /b/, thus leading to a huge flood of shitposters joining on a whim when the yearly "IT'S HAPPENING" post came around.

Because Eternal September has been such a foundational element of internet culture as a whole, I would like to see if an effort to reverse its alleged effects actually leads to good content.
