Yup, the biggest problems are finding a way to make it work in a fun way ('defend' how? What makes defending /jp/ images different from defending a random other object?), fetching the images from /jp/ and checking if they've been deleted or not (in a way that doesn't utterly choke your connection, efficiency matters a lot here), and making the simultaneous multiplayer work.

If you have to start with learning how to program, this isn't the right project for you.

Don't worry ma'am, I have experience with gamemaker.

>defend' how? What makes defending /jp/ images different from defending a random other object?

Well I was thinking of making them objectives to capture by standing nearby them, kinda like how Red Orchestra works if you know what I mean.
Obviously you would have to fight against any enemy present in the area before capturing them.

Is this not just this guy's favorite images or whatever? Benlisquare uploaded the image:

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Marisa_get_out_of_jp.png#filehistory

He's made a lot of contributions. Pretty much everything you read about Japanese pop culture or Corea has been touched by him:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Benlisquare

Here's a more condensed version of the articles he's created:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Benlisquare#Significant_Articles_created_by_me

His sandbox is also interesting:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Benlisquare/Sandbox2#jp
(pretty sure a version of this made it onto the Chinese Wikipedia's 4chan article)
