I used to be afraid of spiders when I was little, but in time I actually developed a liking to them. I remember giving names to orb weavers in my window corners and throwing small moths into their webs as a kid. Flies, mosquitoes and other little irritating pests are okay, but I can never bring myself to kill a spider. They are just too damn cute, just sitting there and minding their business, not even mentioning the jumping puppy-eyed variety.

I admit, none jumped on my face before, but I had to throw some out of my hair a few times after working in the garden. Jumping spiders are basically little cats, they just stay there and calmly stare at you and then suddenly warp two meters away. Personally I find it pretty amusing.

I had a massive garden spider outside my window. I took a picture but I seem to have lost it. Thing was just bigger than my hand stretched out, much larger than the one in the pic. I can handle those just fine, especially since he was outside.

I'd have probably shit myself if he were inside because I have no idea how to transport huge spiders like that, and he had some really threatening looking colors on him.
