KS was okay for what it was. Some huge inconsistencies in the writing, but the art was fine and some of the music was nice.

Overall an enjoyable but forgettable game, unfortunately ruined by its fanbase and background.

In my brain I distinguish between a product as a "work" and a product as a "greater concept". Dangan Ronpa as a game is pretty cool and I really enjoy it. Dangan Ronpa as a thing on the internet is tarnished by the overall attitude of its fans. That doesn't affect how much I enjoy the game, but it does affect how I approach Dangan Ronpa on the internet.

Also I don't think it's unfair to generalize a fanbase like this. Maybe only 1% of Sonic fans are furries, but they're the loudest 1%.
