I'm playing through Fate/Extra right now and enjoying it well enough. The actual gameplay isn't terribly deep and only the boss fights are genuinely challenging, but the story so far is interesting enough to keep me playing it to the end.

You should try picking up Valkyria Chronicles 3. You don't really have to know anything about the series to play it. An English patch is in the making, they're just pretty slow, and don't update often.

I am playing shining hearts it's pretty bad
1. you have to collect a bunch of gay hearts from people to get them to like you. Why can't they just like me from the start?

2. There's a bad day/night system and you get these keys that you have to sink at night BUT you always forget them and then when you rush to the fountain to sink it in this BITCH you travel with tells you she is fucking tired and you're forced to go to sleep. I don't want to go to sleep you dumb woman I want to sink this key without having to wait another fucking day.

3. Battle system is standard generic turn-based shit. You can't really die unless you're a retard doped on coke. Then they are faggy enough to make a bonus that requires you to lose 10 times which is essentially impossible for me since I know how to play jrpgs.

4. Most of the game is about fucking baking bread.

Anyway 7/10 I'm gonna force myself through the rest of the game since shining blade looks better
