The flood limit has increased. I can't confirm this, but it might actually be incremental. Sometimes I can post right away, other times I have to wait at least two minutes. The countdown actually lies, it goes down to 0 seconds then jumps back up to 59 seconds. It's weird.

The count down scares me. It hits zero, then says submitting, then that red ban bar comes at the bottom and says "you must wait x seconds before posting".

I don't know about that, man. I only really hang around /jp/ these days and I can't imagine ever having to post more than once every 2 minutes.

Now if I was multitabbing on /b/, /v/ and /a/ and following multiple threads at the same time I could see it being an issue if the cooldown is site wide and not board specific.

I think based /jp/ only users will be one of the least affected by this.

Try using sage twice consecutively.

Also test real time, not what your script says (if you use one). The timer fluctuates weirdly.
