I watched some touhou anime recently and I'm not sure how I feel about the prospect yet. Anyone feel like it's good or bad?

Was it Musou Kakyou, or Fantasy Kaleidoscope? The former is okay, the latter is promising IMO.

Fantasy Kaleidoscope has better animation, Musou Kakyou has really good voice acting. Musou Kakyou has an original story where Fantasy Kaleidoscope mainly animates the games.
Those are the main differences.

Interesting. How many episodes of fantasy kaleidoscope have out? I've only seen one episode of musou kakyou too, have they released more?

Musou Kakyou has 2 or three episodes, Fantasy Kaleidoscope has two as of last Comiket. They both take a very long time to come out, but both their stories aren't finished yet so I'm sure there will be more.
Other than that there are lots of animated shorts too, but no real anime episodes.
