So I'm working on building a bio-reactor that grows large amounts of algea and I'm using a self setting rubber called Suguru for part of the process.

I recently discovered that "Sugu" translates to "immediately". (Which would make sense, because the rubber reacts and hardens in about 20 minutes.)

So then...
Does "ru" by itself mean anything?

Or does combining characters like that change the nature of the word much like different combinations of letters in the English alphabet change the meaning of a word?

Ok. So reddit was able to help me.

In case anyone else was curious,

Suguru is a boys name. It also translates to "eminent"
