I pronounce Ramune "ra-moon" and weeaboos always get mad at me. Especially when I go on to tell them that Codd-neck bottles are English.

>> No.11316730 [DELETED]

>>11316725
I thought they would be piss bottles. That would be really fucking otaku.

>> No.11316737

They have to get mad at you.

... And... Isn't Ramune a normal drink in America/Europe? It's quite a normal find here.
Every flavor, btw.

>> No.11316749

>>11316729
Funny though the drink is English it's just when the bottle cap came around the only place to keep using it was Japan.

No, unless you're at a Japanese shop or an anime con.

more like you can get them at the Store24 and they've got some flavors normal pop generally doesn't

though there's now a domestic brand of blueberry soda, and it's significantly better
and one of the energy drinks out now is apparently lychee flavored if you're into that shit, personally I don't go for beverages that intentionally make you tense sweaty and stressed-out and make your heart race though I guess somehow they're popular now. I don't get it.

>> No.11316866

I had Ramune once. I got the melon flavor. It was pretty bad, but opening it was cool.

I have never had Ramune but there are several Japanese markets near me in Chinatown that sell it along with other Japanese beverage imports. I might actually give it a try this weekend. Melon soda is better though.

Have you ever taken the ball out of a Ramune bottle /jp/

My local Safeway suddenly started stocking these. They only got Melon flavor right now, but I like them. They taste better than regular soda for some reason. Too bad they're so fucking expensive for the size.

As a matter of fact yes, though there wasn't any slick or recommendable method for getting the plastic wax cap off of the version of the bottle I got. It was just permanently molded onto the top of the bottle, so I had to cut it off with a hot knife. Be careful heating the plastic, btw, it can randomly melt into a liquid rather than just get soft, and then catch on fire releasing no-doubt poisonous black smoke until you get it put out.

The marble isn't worth your trouble unless you're just killing time, but hey. Nice fishtank ornament

I just figured out "ramune" is "lemonade".

I was about to wow you all, but found the Wikipedia article mentions it, so everyone probably already knows.

Why do people drink anything else when water and cream soda exist?

If the holy grail transmutes liquids, I'm pretty sure it transmutes them into cream soda.

Anyway I went to the store with my aunt and cousins. In the store the older one held my hand while her sister wanted me to carry her. When we got to their house they were coloring on the table. I sat down and the youngest came over to me, sat in my lap, and told me to color with her. I obliged while the second youngest came over and told me to solve a wordsearch for her. I finished it easily and then she started making wordsearches for me. They were pretty easy and I solved them all, and then she told me to make one for her. I spent about 15 minutes making one and when I handed it to her she said she hated me because of the length of the words and general difficulty of it. She gave up, erased some of it, wrote over it, and crumpled it up before I got it back and put it in my pocket.

Soon after that their mother told them to lay down and watch a movie, so they both dragged me to the couch and told me to lay down while they went and changed into their nightgowns. When they returned the second youngest sat in my lap (between my legs actually, with her head against my chest) with the youngest to my left. During that time the second youngest tried to tickle me and eventually stole my shoes and wore them while leaning back against me. About five minutes into an episode she seeked out my arms and put them around her, grabbing onto one of my hands. She would occasionally squeeze it and play with my fingers.

Her mother came into the room after one episode and asked me to get the third youngest from one of her friend's houses, so I did as asked. When I got back the two youngest sisters were at the table again coloring and the TV playing Power Rangers had switched rooms. As I spoke with my aunt the second youngest went into the room with Power Rangers and that's right when her older brother called to the house and told me to pick him up quick. It turned out to be nothing.

I wonder if she went in there expecting me to follow. I feel bad if that was case.

Also at the store there was a lady handing out samples of coconut water and the second youngest went to try some and told me it tasted gross and then handed me the cup and told me to try it. It did taste gross, but I didn't really drink it for the coconut water.
