I remember struggling with Tsuyokiss when I tried playing it early on in my Japanese-learning career, enough that I dropped it a couple hours in. From what I recall the sentences are pretty long and having to spend time parsing and deciphering them killed the comedy, which is the main draw of the game.

It of course depends on how good your Japanese is, but you might want to do one of the other games first.

I'm halfway through this. Very nice visuals, and it doesn't overdo it with the fighting angle. It also makes a pretty strong statement on the subject of the death penalty, especially since some of those crimes that would have gone unpunished were it not for the Izuna are pretty realistic. The serial killer who got hundreds of love/fan letters in jail, for instance, reminded me of an incident I followed in the news, with a guy who was just as twisted, although he had killed one woman, not 50.

The eroscenes are quite good too. Maybe it's because they're few, and high quality. I like the way the archaic Japanese stays during those, too, and the fact that the demi-shota protagonist is fully voiced.

Really looking forward to Neon's route. My hunch tells me that dis gon b gud.

There is a lot of doujin games with high fantasy elements but most are really crappy, this one is an exception though and from what I've read, it's really good.

There is also Lost Colors that count I guess, kind of and Aka though I'd recommend reading Gin'iro first.

I guess I was much closer to the end than I thought. It was a great experience overall. The only thing I have to add is that while the H-scenes with side characters had little ero-value, they were useful in underlining the situation they were in and providing character development.
I liked the side routes too, I almost fell off my chair when pic related happened. The chapter system was interesting too, it was fun to replay a route and see some things from a different perspective.

There's quite a bit of repeated stuff after your first route (there's not really an explicit common route break off point). Maybe 30 hours total if you're reading everything. It's got some bugs right now that prevent some things from triggering properly (tl;dr play every route twice if you don't want to miss things––auto-skip will recognize the improperly triggered text as unread so you can just let it run in the background). They should have the patch that fixes that out shortly though.

I agree, really sweet. Did her ending from insects end up being canon? Tomosane-Takuji was there and tsn2 mentioned no one ended up suiciding and all... it made sense that way in my head.

With how it's presented, I sort of think he might have just imagined it, but I'm not completely sure. It might be that there are even more Takujis and that the one who bonded with Kimika like that was thinking that to himself as Tomosane and Hasaki fell off of the roof.

Rereading tns2, I started to think that maybe all of the endings happened and that with that one, another Takuji was created sort of like how the other Yukis were brought into existence, but I'm still not completely sure. Hopefully the followup to this that scaji will eventually write will clear up these things though.

Tns2 in itself is a different world from the rest of the game, most clear evidence of that is that it's the end of the semester and Miu is still alive when you see her being part of Takuji's cult in different perspectives.

take a look at sekaijo or oretsuba where she was the only artist in charge and you'll see she's not incredibly skilled by any stretch of the word, slenderman, stiff titled angles and perspective fuck ups everywhere, stamp face isn't her biggest problem really

Well, after a whole day of downloading it and it crashing midway, leaving it to download again during the night and waiting an hour for it to finish after waking up, I finally downloaded the Baldr Sky ZERO trial.

It's Baldr Sky, alright.
Despite the 3D change and the not so good performance due to my hardware limitations, I enjoyed the gameplay. You have 3 Force Crashes and can jump now, though it's the same button as dash and I didn't figure out what determines whether you jump or dash when pressing it. The amount of weapons you can equip now is smaller, sadly, though who knows? Extra slots might be a feature you buy while upgrading.
The thing that really got me pissed, though, is that Ed is no longer voiced after the OP. I really hope the full version is fully voiced. It's one of the reasons why Kou is one of my favorite protags.
That aside, Sakura is amusing.

The battles were really cool, fast paced too like BS even if Ed doesn't seem to be able to move as fast as Ko and half of the time I try to dash he ends up jumping, which admittedly is pretty cool to see since flying enemies in BF and S annoyed me to no end, mainly because they were a waste of time to kill.
Also seeing the mechas run through the space instead of CGs was really neat.

No, it is a bug. Your first playthrough on any route is meant to be different, but after that it should be triggering the taxi scenes and the target character's PoV scenes. The bugs make it trigger scenes pertaining to the first character you completed (unless it was Hiroshi, his route doesn't have any taxi scenes) on other routes instead of the ones it's supposed to trigger. It's mostly small things but you miss some frequently important details as a result.

They're working on getting a patch out to fix it.

You should have, the narrative's designed to make you go for Hiro first (suggested order is Hiro -> Maki -> Kouichi -> Ryu). I'm not sure if the bug will cause you as much trouble (some scenes still likely won't trigger like they should though) in that case. I did Ryu first so I kept getting his more general PoV scene and Narimiya kept talking about him instead of my target.

It'll be fixed eventually and you can retrieve the missing scenes with a second playthrough of any given route, so it's not a big deal.
