I don't have the total number, but it is certainly in the hundreds alone for Double Dealing Characters. But for this abomination, I know from reliable source that it was six Kasteelbier, two shots of Vodka, and one big bottle of Sake with an unpronounceable japanese name.

The Kasteelbiers were a gift. They were pretty good.

Her design isn't as boring as the others, but it's definitely not very good either.

Too many 2hus with white color scheme in this game, that's why they're look bland.
It'd be better if the characters are more colorful, like the first 3 stages.

I feel like ZUN pulled some kind of bait and switch with this game in terms of the character designs. I liked the 3 in the demo and was pretty hyped to see the rest of the cast, and then we just get really boring and/or dumb looking characters.

Thought she looked terrible when I first saw her on screen. Liked her better when I saw her portrait. She's growing on me already and her battle was a lot of fun, and she personality seems rather unique. Her spinning when declaring spells was really cute. The bosses have much more animations in this than in any other Touhou game.

I am only sad we may never know what her dress looks like from the front. Is it a sailor-dress? If ZUN had gone all out with the reverse theme, her dress should've been on backwards. I'm glad he didn't go with that though, because the chances are it just would've looked stupid.

It's not as bad as you think. Get as close to the right as you can, then follow the lane closest you simply by holding left while focused, and don't release that button until the wave is over. Then, rush to the other side of the screen as quickly as possible and do the same for the rotated wave. The blue bullets shouldn't be an issue.
The only ways to fuck up are by getting too late into a lane, then getting walled in the corner; or by messing something up and finding a blue bullet in your way while avoiding a red wave.

Forgot to mention that you need to pay attention to when she changed the rotation of her spirals, and adjust your movement accordingly. No idea of what causes her to do that, though, so all you can do is pay attention to her in between waves.
This should work for all difficulties, too, although you'll need to maneuver a bit around blue balls on hard and lunatic.

And I just noticed the enemy marker at the bottom of the screen doesn't get flipped. Oh god that's confusing
