>"Am I gonna make it, Zyzz?"
>"It's not about the moment you've made it, brah. It's about the process of making it. You remake yourself, brah, and you're the only one that can do it. Sometimes the weights are the only thing in your life you can control in your life, and that's fine because everybody else is sitting around and being a fuckin sad cunt but you're recreating yourself into something better. There's enough sad cunts in the world and if you've got some Zyzz in you then you gotta prove it. There's nothing wrong with being down sometimes but you can't let yourself or anybody else stop you from making the most of your life, brah. You gotta go in everyday and work as hard as you can and if you feel like you could've gone harder then get back in there and go harder man. The only thing stopping you is you kay? If I can make it anyone can make it and I want you to make it. You got a choice today brah. You can be a fuckin sad pussy or you can make yourself into a better fucking person. Do it brah.

Two years ago this day Zyzz left us. RIP brah

Post that comic about Zyzz. It was pretty great.

>> No.11269891

Why do people still treat Zyzz as a martyr and a hero?

Surely the fact that he took steroids and died from having a weak body undermines everything he said?

>> No.11269897

I really hate this typesetting style.

>> No.11269898

He looks like a fag, cared more about looking good than functional strength, and died like a bitch.

Yeah, rip.

It's like kinetic typography but static and bad.

Here's an example of good kinetic typography.

It's also a /jp/-related song.

I still don't care about this person, and basically only recognize his name and picture - fuck all you new people.

People only paid attention to Zyzz because he was both funny (not in a 'ha-ha' way, but more of a 'get a load of this guy' way) and was one of the most prime examples of somebody having too much self-esteem.

I always read the large words first.

I've seen some pretty cool typography demos, but there's a reason classic typographers never did shit like this. It's because we're human beings and not psychics/robots who knew were supposed to read the small 90 degrees words first, then the big 72-point words second.

Aww, it's so cute knowing you're 17 and into those sorts of videos.

Will you be reading philosophy literature next?

I just want to cuddle you <3

Kinetic typography is also incredibly terrible.

It reminds me of all those bad sillicon valley hipster commercials.

I'm not 'into' any kind of video in particular.

You thought I'm into kinetic typography just because I know it exists and have an example of it being done well?

You seem to have a general idea. I can just imagine you looking up those videos. It's so cute. I wish I was born into an internet where videos were the norm.

If you were Zyzz and tried to put your muscles to realistic use, you'd break your spine like a twig. Most bodybuilders are just that, they work out to show off their muscles. Sometimes you'd get a misguided runt like Zyzz once in a while, but the best way to handle them is to let them figure things out the hard way.

>> No.11269954

While I always thought Zyzz and his cult was silly, I did meet and make friends with a 19-year-old boy who was really into fitness. After some chatting, it turned out he was a 4channer, and Zyzz had inspired him to go from a fat nerd to a fit alpha male (and he was pretty ripped).

I don't get it, but I think it's cool that a random internet person can have that effect on someone.

But seriously, I don't care that Zyzz was muscular. I'm just jealous that he was confident and had high self-esteem, plus the credentials to back it up.

Doesn't he have a point, though? I'm not a fitness expert at all, but I have seen people working crazy hard to get huge biceps and abs, and I always wonder what strain that must put on their spine. Can you "train" your back? Are there important muscles there?
