We don't do this here.

Is there anyone left who unironically thinks that /jp/, a few general threads aside, is actually better than /a/?

I thought I was familiar with the rules of the board, but I found that the threads I started always get deleted prematurely. It may be the case that my threads are not up to the high standards of the board, or perhaps, they were not adhering to the permittance of the board. What is allowed and what is not: -this is a grey area I hope I can better understand in order to deliver quality, permissible threads in the near future. Listed below are type of threads that are generally greenlighted on /jp/, followed by threads that SHOULD be allowed on /jp/. I am enlisting your aid, may you be veteran or newbie, to enlighten me by sharing your thoughts, as well as to expand or subtract from this masterlist. Thank you in advance.

Valid threads:
-Most Touhou dump/discussions (including wich-2hu-wud-u-fug threads)
-Borderline (and) off-topic discussions with Touhou images
-Kigurumi imagedumps with minimal discussion
-Doll threads with inappropriate subjet field
-Figurine discussions without buyfagging
-Circlejerking Original Content/Drawthread
-Solo drawing threads
-Unproductive /jp/ Project Threads
-MMD content and resource sharing
-Nico Nico Douga videos and links
-Japanese 3DPD Idol/Group threads
-Individual Idolmaster imagedumps (Chii-chan and Makochii)
-Obscure 2D character imagedump/requests
-J-Dramas (abysmal reception)
-Doujin albums shit taste exchange
-Otaku events like Comiket and Reitaisai
-Dakimakura waifu threads
-Artificial Academy waifu sharing threads
-New Illusion releases
-Japanese tea brewing and snacks
-Advice on opening a Japanese snack stand in a gaijinland
-Visual Novels and Light Novels
-Language resources and kanji identification
-Yume Nikki and other obscure Japanese minigames
-Loli threads before escalating to lewd, gaycocksucking hook-up threads

Threads that should be valid:
-Legitimate otaku culture discussion that happen to come with an anime screenshot
-Legitimate otaku culture discussion with images that may suggest otherwise
-Legitimate otaku culture discussion
-Touhou image editing threads
-Innocent Touhou community games eg: Touhou Daycare Center
-Japanese doge threads
-Figurine and doll hotglue (without penis showing)
-/jp/ Janitor appreciation thread
-Cosplaying Net Idol discussion
-Touhou discussion based on /jp/-contributed polls
-Touhou slut threads

That's all for now, thank you.

No.

>/jp/ Janitor appreciation thread
These always end up retarded.

>Cosplaying Net Idol discussion
Only if they don't post on /jp/, and never have.

Everything you listed is either Touhou or a general thread except imagedumps, Illusion, fangames (which usually get made into generals anyway), and the borderline off-topic discussions.

That's almost nothing.

Moot explicitly banned it from the board when he made it, and nobody has ever campaigned to make it legal again.

You are free to go to >>>/q/ to legalize them, try to legalize shitposting too (again).

Not necessarily. A lot of it depends on time of day, etc, but just because a rule breaking thread manages to stay alive for more than an hour doesn't mean it's allowed. It just slipped in under the radar or nobody bothered to report it.

I was at a local beer festival, when I spotted this small man with a peculiar green flat cap. I thought I'd strike a conversation, but his english was pretty bad. He seems to know his beer, and when asked about what he does for a living, he said it wasn't anything particularly interesting. However, he did mention about making his own games during his free time. I forgot about him for the next few weeks. One day, I went out for some beer with friends, and remembered my encounter with the strange asian guy weeks ago. I went back home that night and decided to search up the game he made, for curiosity's sake. I believed he called it 'Touhou Project'. My entire world changed after that.
