Oddly enough the communication in Valkyrie Crusade is so minimal that it's non existent.
You can't message your friends at all and your alliance has a small board but no one really posts in it other than to brag or bitch about SR's.
Most alliances just want active members and people to donate daily for the guild SR.

The crippled communication is what annoys me most with the game. Like how I won't ever be able to thank those people that always send me AWs, or ask them if they got a spot in their alliance.

Likely never, not until there's a custom CFW widespread enough for the Vita. With the proprietary memory and the PSP's notorious reputation of being the homebrew-handheld, I don't see it happening for many years, either. Even if it did, the appeal is pretty niche as it is, there would probably be more work on more popular titles that we won't see over here, and undub projects.

Once they get to Lv 30 (max) you fuse them to the card you want to level with Arcana Succession(100% Great Success) as long as it's not HR or SR+, it'll max out the card out.

At the start it's kind of hard to get slimes, but if you just keep going you'll eventually have too many of them and start feeding slimes to slimes.

Yes. Your Archewitch team should always have full soldiers at all times.

Also note that when you evolve a card you actually want to use, make sure they're both max level before doing so. You'll get a higher soldier count, and more attack/defense.

That's correct for the lower levels. However, Androids are better used for the Goddess and other cards are better for medals. Mainly because Android gives you substantially less medals than a normal R card.

Guess I should also throw out there that when you lose to an Archewitch, you don't lose any of the soldiers you put into the fight.

Make sure the Play Store app is closed, and clear both it's data and cache (doesn't affect your account or anything). Relaunch it, you should be on the Japanese store. That's all there is to it. Go find and download your app.
It's flawless from what I've used so far, except when you switch back to your usual English store by closing the VPN, the Japanese app you downloaded doesn't appear in the list of installed apps (you have to go under VPN again and find the app again to install updates)

Can't believe I ended up at rank 15. I'm sure I'll be much lower this event though both because it's much less farmable and because the game crashes more than ever on Android.

This event is pretty annoying though, but I guess that makes Angra Mainyu and Chaos more exclusive since the events is off-limits to newbies and even many intermediate players. I am convinced this may be a slight FSN reference considering that angra mainyu corrupts a heroine, and the resulting Chaos looks a lot like Dark Sakura.

Just finished grabbing all seven Thanatos earlier today. This event has been pretty shitty so far; the only thing good about it is how awesome the SRs look.

Honestly I've only played like an hour, so these are some very very first impressions.

I want to think that you can probably get some good cards by playing a lot, but that's really only if you stick with it. So much of the art is just.. ugh, not to mention not having any control of your cards in battle.

Depending on the card you want to level, you need at least 2.5k medals. When exchanged, one SR gives you 2k, medal girl gives you 1.5k and a rare gives 100.

Keep in mind that another way to get a medal girl is amalgating gold girl and metal slime, so you want to save all metal slimes you get and keep at least one gold girl in stock (they're normal cards so you should come across those quite frequently)

I would convert them into medals now just to save card space, unless you're not bothering with collecting / keeping cards you like.

You usually want to save your medals instead of randomly upgrading cards you will be replacing relatively soon. You also don't have to upgrade any cards that won't be in your AW team, normal encounters are usually easy enough.

A good choice for upgrading are multi-proc group healers (e.g. Angel or Millionaire) and attack debuffers (e.g. Half Elf or Delphinus).

For attackers, it really depends on what you have. My strongest attacker, for example, is a HSR Beelzebub; upgrading that one to 10 gave me a better proc rate and bumped up skill damage from 250% to 350%. Other attack cards might not benefit from upgrading that much.

Group buff cards I can't comment on since I only have def boost upon battle start cards (HSR Titania), which kinda sucks. I suppose if you have a Lilim, though, you want to upgrade it.

And on a sidenote: Don't forget that you will also need medals to buy arcana succession to evo good cards. So unless you got a lot of them from AW kills, always keep some medals so you can buy one.

Do Archwitch levels ever reset or anything? I'm getting Little Devils with 350,000 HP now, and I can barely do 5% of that in damage with each BP.

It goes down by a few levels if you actually fail to make it die in 2 hours, but that really shouldn't be happening if you have strong comrades. You also never want it to go down, because the chances of rare drops increases as the level goes up. A lot of killers like me generally don't even want to waste BP fighting lower leveled R AW that people send.

I've been playing the korean version for a few months and have a few 6 star cards, so i'll do my best to answer.

You can easily get the strongest cards without paying, there's a gachapon, but you can get in-game gold cards that I believe have the same card table as people who pay. As for how easy it is to get them, I got 2 as a login reward today.

You 'ascend' a 5 star card to a 6 star card by sacrificing other cards for soul point, 1 star cards give 2-4 but 3 star cards (if you use the gachapon, you will always get at least a 3 star card) give around 1500-3300, you need to ascend it through common > uncommon > rare to increase the star rank.
There's a 1 hour event that drops a LOT of soul point cards, I didn't find out the drop rare until a week ago. At the moment the english version only has the exp rewards which are on a much lower drop rate.

The most pay to save time thing is skill transfer, the skill that you transfer over is random but for around $8-9 you can buy a potion that will let you choose what skill you transfer over. I've only got 4 of these potions so far, and your cards have 3 skills each.
Of course, most of the cards also get cuter but I think that's preference.

HR Android is an alright starter. Do duels as well for the easy R's to get yourself a decent healer and damage buffer. I can help you out with the witches.

HR Android is a good start if you don't have any other R cards. It's quite tanky (300% def boost, 25% proc) and can do ok damage.

You also want to complete the first few sacred treasures. You will get a Tengu (attacker) and a single target healer that are quite nice. You also get 2 copies so you can HR them. Just make sure to level each card to max before you evo them. If you can, use arcana succession for the evo for a 5% stat boost.

It's the only game I've spent a lot on because I like it a lot, but it is much fairer than every other card game app I've tried, as the Archwitch bosses have chance of dropping top rarity cards, and the game also gives you points each month that you can use for ultimate summons for a chance to get exclusive cards.

But if you are willing to pay money for the game if you really like it, it can be a good investment if you pick a specific event you like and buy lots at the start of that event, because there is a high chance you will obtain special cards designed to destroy the current Archwitch (for example, last event had a lich called Snow White and a footjob princess named Cinderella, who did 10X and 5X damage to the Archwitch Alice, respectively). For the 2 weeks the event last, they do the insane damage advertised (if fact if you got two you could fuse them to do 15X and 7X damage respectively), so then you can hunt tons of archwitches and likely get tons of super rare cards to help you really pull ahead fast. So if you do spend, spend wisely at the right time rather than just buying premium packs at a random time. The next event starts in a week. By the way, the cards in the game's advertisement are the ones that have an extra high chance (somewhere between 25%-50% chance) of being obtained when you do get a super rare card, so it is not completely random.

You're right about that.

As a Rare, Delphinus may drop from level 50+ archwitches. You pretty much have to cross your fingers as you redeem rewards for each one you down.

Delphinus isn't the only card though, there's Half Elf, and The Poor, though the latter can only be gotten by accidental evolution.

I like how Motoi Sakuraba is the composer for Valkyrie Crusade.

Also note that you have to be lucky to get those cards, specifically Snow White. Someone spent thousands trying to get it and only got 1 Snow White so they couldn't even evolve it.

Premium summons just aren't worth it; trust me on this. Even if you do get lucky with a card, you can't maximise its potential until you get another. I tried it a few times, and I don't even use any of the cards I got from summons.

Just kill AWs all day; it feels a hell of a lot better to get a good SR from that, even if it takes forever. It's been stated before, but let me say it again: the best cards are available to you as a free player.

She isn't really. She works better with extremely strong teams that only need to be healed once in a fight (if at all). I stuck her in my team for the SR bonus and did surprisingly well.

Definitely need to hit big though. Make sure you have a Lilim and perhaps a card @ 19999 and/or a card with crit ability.

You should really get 3 yggdrasiils and a workshop, these are the top investments. Another workshop will save you months of real-life building time, while 3 yggdrasils will practically double your chances of getting super rare drops as you'll get 6 more bp to fight Archwitches with. Note that you don't have to win or anything to have a chance. Just participate and you'll get drops even if you do 1 damage.

I guess if you're adamant on not paying money, then focus on yggdrasil since they will always be a permanent investment while eventually workshop becomes useless at the very end when you are maxed out. But you will definitely feel the pain of not having a 3rd workshop as the time it takes for each building to upgrade takes longer (eventually it takes several days each and you'll have 50+ buildings to keep upgrading up to level 10)
