I was looking for work abroad because It was part of my plan to better my resume and initially, I was gonna go to Paris but I was too late, Yokohama was second. I know they won't be around, for how much longer, I know the time is relatively short. I've thought about it, and I don't know, I look back on my experiences and all the fun I've had and what not, if it were to all end today I'd still be happy. There were no idols for me before Berryz and there will be none after, I'm pretty sure of that. My interest in Japanese culture, music, that will stick around, but there will never be another "Berryz."

Thanks. That's a pretty good answer. I've felt a bit more disconnected since my oshi left.

There really is no love like the first, but the group (MM) still exists and I've always liked H!P. There are still a lot of current idols I really like, so I will continue to follow their careers for as long as I can.

Despite taking 4 years of Japanese in college (I just graduated in May, with a degree in Economics and Japanese), my Japanese is terrible, unfortunately. I can understand a bit, read a little, and speak even less.

Friends, are Berryz wota I've met during my travels who I've grown close to over the years. After a concert, a female fan introduced herself to me and we exchanged contact information. She had seen me at some previous concerts. She was adamant about getting me to go to Hawaii after that, she was a lot of help. Anyway, met some of her friends. People just start to recognize me, approach me. Make more friends and such. And so on.

I'm actually a Software Developer. Worked before and during school (though I did quit my previous job at the onset of college). Economics and Japanese, the decision to study these fields were for the most part, unrelated to career aspirations and more just related to my personal interests. I'll likely continue with Software Development, though I'd like to mix in a bit of finance/econimcs/japanese if at all possible.

I hope to stay in touch with my Japanese friends, yeah, and the others I've met along the way.
