However, backing up a bit...generally speaking, they're about as tall as girls in their early teens['10代前半' means 10 to 14 years old.]. A
suitable breakdown would be something like:
Tall: Sakuya, Meiling, Yukari
Fairly Tall: Reimu, Yuyuko, Alice, Letty, Ran
Fairly Short: Marisa, Youmu, Patchouli, Lunasa, Merlin
Short: Remilia, Lyrica, Chen, Cirno, Rumia, Flandre
Basically, if we consider the top level as the height of a human in her late teens or older['10代後半以降' means 15 years old or above.] and the bottom
level as the height of a human in her early teens['10代前半' ], that puts them in a fairly short class (though none of that
level are human). If their sizes appear to be different on the game screen than given above, it's because of
some mystic force like perspective, so pay it no mind. :-)

I don't know about other youkai but crow tengu supposedly had two meter long wingspans, a beak, and hatched out of giant eggs, and some depictions covered them entirely with feathers and gave them talons, so I think they're closely related to birds.

But doing some research on birds I found that they don't really have a mating season nor do they go into heat. Captive birds breed all-year round, so I would assume that would be the case for crow tengu since they're not slaves to the seasons. But an interesting tidbit I did find is that female birds do masturbate when they become sexually mature.

That's what ZUN's crow tengu are based on so it could give clues about them is all. Sure a lot of the time ZUN doesn't give his youkai much of what the ancient youkai had but a lot of the times he does.

Since they no longer have natural processes as everyone else does, (beating heart, breathing, etc...) I would immagine that they actually wouldn't. Plus, unless they can regenerate eggs, Remelia would have gone into menopause about 450 years ago. Even then, that's assuming that someone at her age would be 'in heat'. Keep in mind too that they are, by all matters of structure and origin, human.
