How is your education, employment or training going today, /jp/? Got any stories to share?

Why is self-education outside of an institution not considered real education?

Due to my country's school system I'm forced to study subjects I don't like at all.
School life is boring.
I'm forced to study with people younger than me of 3 years because I can't pass. Just because I'm lazy, and because of how boring the schools here are.

May as well become a NEET.

One time I helped my grandpa remove all the snow from his roof (the house was almost collapsing) and he gave me some money for it. It's the closest thing I've come to a job. I'm sorry I can't contribute much to this thread.

I do work for money from people sometimes, last summer some guy gave me 60 dollars to move a bunch of wood from his drive way. It took all day but for the money it was worth it. Besides that my work is for my own benefit, gather wood, cut, and organize for fires. I'm still a NEET though and probably never will have a real job.

>> No.10997093

I'm thinking of taking up driving lessons and looking for work soon.

I may be a NEET at the moment, but I am looking forward to becoming an EET.

I'm not sure if I should return to education, though.

My language, memorisation, and practical skills seem to be failing me and although I could use more stimuli and practice to recover what I have lost (and to perhaps gain even more), the people I would have to associate with (including the tutors themselves) are perhaps not appropriate for somebody like me to come into contact with during my rehabilitation.

Being a hikki NEET for four years with next to no human contact, outside of receiving deliveries and occasionally coming across kids (and drunkards) entering my forest, seems to have severely damaged my ability to function as a regular human.

Thusly I am at a loss with what to do with myself.

It would seem that as a teenager I may have taken for granted the lessons life teaches you through little things such as as basic human interaction and merely being around other human beings.

I sincerely hope that, despite my awkward disposition and failings in life, I will be able to join the workforce and become a valuable human being.

I dread the idea of languishing even further.

Went to the local doctors (GP?), complained about all the problems I was having and asked to get a psychological analysis, and then I acted like a full-on autist when I saw the psychologist.

After that everything was a cake-walk because they did everything for me with very little input on my part (although I did have to see a lot of people and talk to a lot of people to sign things and give them my details, although it was definitely worth the small hassle).

I didn't even have to see anybody about my diagnosis after everything was set out for me, and as such I haven't had to deal with anybody since.

It was almost too easy to get like this.

Mostly social and mental issues.

My biggest complaints were intrusive (and violent/sexual thoughts), extreme difficulty with dealing with people, compulsive behaviour, struggles with speech, and other such things linked to aspergers syndrome, autism, and OCD.

I did also mention some truthful and unrelated things (about self-esteem, awkwardness, and such) to help make it seem like I was being honest and not just lying through my teeth.

Why does everyone learn so slowly at colleges?

I looked at the curriculum at a few of the colleges near me and they spend an entire semester learning the fucking kana. If that's an example of the education system then I'm never going to bother with it. Self-taught seems to be the only way that isn't a complete waste of time.

Are the jews intentionally designing the curriculum to be as slow as possible so that they can make more money?

>> No.10997301

Pretty sure you can say watashi wa gakusei desu by the end of your first semester. In any case, a lot of college courses only use four hours a week, so it's no surprise they won't be going quickly.

It's like a TV series. They need to stretch their content over the course of a year, so they add filler and padding.

It's really more of an issue with secondary education, but it exists in universities, too.

Its hilarious because I'm not allowed to learn Japanese here in England because I don't know any other European languages, so Japanese is considered "too difficult" for me, yet I learnt Kana faster than their students will.
