A lot of genuinely wonderful people who do what they enjoy doing, at their own pace which they're comfortable with. They also either dislike doing things that require effort, socialising in real life, leaving the house, or a mix/all of the above. But there's nothing wrong with that, and they accept and embrace it.
There might be a few bad eggs here and there, but we all know deep down they're good people. /jp/ is filled with good people and I love you all a lot.

I have too much hope for myself for someone that lurks here. Truth is, I really don't fit in in a lot of ways. But I'm pretty sure I have that incessant and undeserved sense of elitism down pat. I have a job and live with my parents at 26. I desperately want to not have a job, or at least not have one doing something meaningless that I derive no joy from. I'm back in college now and contemplating taking on huge debt to go for a degree where I think I could do something I enjoy while simultaneously being able to quit my job and live off the student loan money for a couple years.

I have plans that sound more like pipe dreams, but I'm slowly working at them. The worst part about them is that they require I rely on other people to an extent, and as the hospitality industry has finalized in my mind, hell is others. Also I talk too damn much, which is why I try to stick to lurking most of the time. This thread gives me justification to blog though, which I really need, but really probably bothers people. I wasn't held as a child, or given any attention. I think that's the reason I tend to have long rambling outbursts like this. They tend to be pretty infrequent though; I've gotten a lot better control over them in the past year actually.
