The only reason they are taking so long is because YAMAHA is making a game with her.

I'm just telling anyone who is using Galaco that they are having a hard time maintaining her as she is so she might get a regular release sometime in the future.

Is it weird that songs from only 5-6 years ago feel so nostalgic? There were a lot of songs/videos which were clumsy but good, there were great songs which a lot of people still love(I guess) and comparing what it was like then to what it is like now, it feels like it grew a lot in these 5 years. I only found out about it around 2008, but when I came across the weekly ranking, I went back in time. It was quite a ride, but I think I saw where it started from, and followed it into the present.

Did it really change that much? Does it feel nostalgic because a lot happened?

Vocaloid songs and the kind of songs that are popular have changed a lot. A lot of artists that are still active from back then have changed too. And judging by surveys and how vocaloid is marketed now, the amount of people that know about the existence of vocaloids is much higher now too.

I was thinking of asking a similar question with the difference being first favorite song/Vocaloid, but given the speed of this place...

Always make sure to use legit software too if anyone finds you use pirated software it could ruin your reputation forever in the community.

1) Get a DAW, you'll need to do some EQ and it's easier to do with software other than the vocaloid engine.

2) Write some music. Make sure to leave space for a melody (the vocals is the focus of a vocaloid song, after all)

3) Realize that all your music will sound like crap for a long time, let go after a while and move on to the next song.

4) Get a vocaloid. Avanna is a great English one, and you may have other options depending on your native languages.

5) Do this with your vocals:

Has there been any new news on CV04, and that male voice that was supposed to be released along Avanna or that china contest? I remeber in the last threa that one of the chinese vocaloids skyrocketed to firsf place.

They said in 2011 once all of their other VOCALOID are upgraded to V3 CV04 and Project will get released.
