I think that as the new character sprites are more detailed and with smoother animations, more time and effort are required to insert each playable character. (And without forgetting about balancing and moveset issues).


So, as I gave up on seeing playable SDM, I'll be happy if at least characters that have been forgotten by canon make a reappearance. (I'm not talking about Mima).

I've never been able to figure out the controls to a fighting game. I've tried all of them. One wouldn't even start. It just froze on the main loading screen and none of the keys did anything. I think fighting games are held to lower standard.

I really think they will be lazy and not have characters who are already in the in the background playable. I know games like the Umineko fighter did it, but they just don't seem like the group who puts the extra effort into that kind of thing.
