I don't want to be young unless it's in some fantasy world.

As a teenager you get picked on and pressured into drugs and sex and whatnot and there's a lot of drama and it's terrible.
As an early twentysomething you're dragged out to nightclubs and no longer allowed to play with toys and everyone expects things of you.

At least as a guy in my late twenties, everyone has accepted I'm a failure and started to leave me alone.

Yeah it also doesn't help that around 25 and older is when people's looks really start going downhill and by the time they hit 30 unless you are very lucky your gonna be old and ugly. You're gonna hate the way you are physically and everyone else is going to hate the way you look too. Life ends much sooner than when you actually die.

There are a kajillion ways to identify someone online. If you've ever ran a web server, you'll know there's a crazy amount of data in your logs.

They could ban a range of addresses, your ISP, your IP address geolocation, set an Evercookie, do something like this:
https://panopticlick.eff.org/

Of course, nothing is perfect (and false positives are a big problem), but you're not as safe as you might think. Well, you are, but only because Team 4chan is lazy, not for technical reasons.

Have you seen the ban list ever? Mods post screenshots sometimes.

They resolve your host mask, too. They could just ban your ISP. It's especially a problem if they divide by region, like north.isp.net.

This might ban other people of course, but they've done it before. They don't have problems with banning whole countries, even. Posting here is a privilege, not a right, and all that.
