I would personally like Touhou anime to be fairytale like with darker tones ( a bit like folklore tends to be ) with dialogue similiar to ZUN's and plot that follows the events of some Touhou game. But the animu would probably be cute drama that aims to show all the popular characters doing something funny.

No, I didn't mean that I don't care about the said characters per se, I just don't consider the layers added to them by fans to have any special value compared to original works. They are just jokes, speculations and interpretations. That doesn't mean that they wouldn't be awesome, though.
