I think my neighbor is a youkai. She reads constantly but cannot spell. She draws constantly, but cannot draw well at all. She seems to be trying to absorb lots of human knowledge but is incompatible with it.

Also she hissed at me once.

If there's a youkai in our dimension it would be her.

If by "dispose" you mean "get your descendants killed by a pissed demon that only wanted to help and got dumped into a pit for aeons as thanks for its assistance" then sure. Japanese mythology pretty much runs on age-long grudges, giving your harmless nature spirit a massive one won't bode well for anyone. If you want truly disposable shit you should make shikigami, but then that might not be a good idea either because creating more than two will apparently make you feel like shit all the time.

But it's not like any of this will work, so you might as well try for the highest level ritual out there and try to create one of those starved dog ghosts.

Frankly "snow men" could be anything from small animals to cold-induced hallucinations, it's easy to interpret pretty much everything as a monster out to kill you when you're up a mountain because for the most part you'd be right. Nowadays they're the local equivalent of the Yeti. The mountain folk like child-kidnapping demon monks, summer kappa, those echo bears Kyouko is modeled after and whatnot might be derived from actual apes, while demonized peoples are generally easy to distinguish because they're explicitly identified as human, albeit covered with fur, or with a fondness for human flesh, or other such embellishments to make them feel savage and monstrous.

I've known about these movies for some time now and have even watched a few of them, but they mostly consist of Japanese Kuroneko (Wild ghost Cat) movies. The second part of the list is all neko horror. I believe the Japanese originally made so many, because the Kuroneko stories use to run rampant in the old Japan, with many seeing such evil creatures. Since they were adapted into films my theory says this is partially why we see so many past and preset Japanese manga artists who sexualize them into fetishes for the Child world we now call post-modern Japan.

You know what, I forgot to give you these greatly lesser known ones as well, yet maybe it is going out on a limb to call them Yokai movies, but there origins are rightfuly grounded in youkai legends.

Probably the closest thing to Yokai on this second list here.
Vampire Bride 1960

The last one is pretty much the Japanese remake of Dracula, but the Japanese have long had their own Vampires, but we must understand that they were not vampires in the Western sense rather they were full yokai mystic being creatures. That is the only reason why I include it in this list. Don't put too much hope in seeing a lot of traditional Japan in this one.

This is silly.
Ainu were actually beating back the "nips" until they started using Ainu tactis. Also tje amount of Japanese that hold around 37% or some weird number of Ainu blood, so they were probably intermarrying far more in the begining than what the Japanese lead us to believe.

Simply not true. Aryans existed before vikings and were Oni. They were giants and some even had horns. It's quite possible Oni weren't Aryan or any kind of white people and were just a separate species upon themselves. I would like to believe they were just there own people of monsters. Not all white men are decedents of the Aryans though. The Aryans intermarried a lot of times too.

Everyone hates the ending. Obibaba ends similar to it. It's that specifuc directors name. Most people in the Japanese film community find him very pathetic, but since he gaines so much fame the studios always just kept using him to make a profit. If you look at his interveiws with that one weird American movie critic he explains what the message is at the end. Boy he makes good movies but sucks hard at endings and he comes off as a wind bag who thinks too much of his own work in a humble yet cheesy manner.

Yama-uba

http://inthewritemind.wordpress.com/tag/yama-uba/
> She’s the prototypical “old hag”, who lives far off in the deep forests or high mountains of Japan. She’s normally fairly hideous in appearance with messy long hair, tattered clothes and a large mouth. However, it’s been said that she can alter her appearance in order to capture her victims.

How will I know if I am going to end up with a yokai who wants to trick me into being her husband and have my children as long as I don't talk about her past with me as she appeared as a Yokai

Or

if it's Yama-uba?

She doesn't look like an old hag either. Is she really that ugly /jp/?

Color the symbols above the 1. Place it under your pillow and sleep for an hour or more.
After waking up, color the symbols above the 2. Place it under your pillow and sleep for an hour or more.
After waking up, color the symbol above the 3. Roll it up and place it in some container and close it. You can seal it with wax if you want.
Use a marker for this. Someone (I believe it was the owner of the site) suggested to color the last part in a color you hate. You can just use the same color for everything though.
It is suggested that you do this all in one day, and not stretched out for several nights.
Keep it away from running water and pets. Don't open that shit, yo.
If you want to get rid of it (or gain its grudge and potentially fuck up your life) bury it somewhere far away from your home.
AE wanted to show a proper ritual for this next, but the site isn't available at the moment.

Talk to it every night before going to sleep.
It might take a few nights before it shows up in your dreams. It will show you insights in your life. Be aware of symbolism.
Someone found out their deceased father wasn't really their father this way, another claimed to have found out about his wife cheating on him and aborting the conceived children of the other men.

It could be kamikiri, a hoopoe-headed, claw-armed little imp that delights in cutting off the hair of unsuspecting girls. It also has a duty to prevent marriages between humans and the supernatural, which it accomplishes by crashing weddings and shaving the groom bald. Think of it as a stuck up no-nonsense ojou-sama who'd rather die than to see a youkai marry a filthy human commoner. Or it could be a scorpion woman, one of those punishment-after-death demons. Women who have lashed out at others in their mortal life transform into those to atone for their sins, because being an all-powerful, venomous monster with giant scorpion claws will certainly help you with your anger management issues.
