I think my neighbor is a youkai. She reads constantly but cannot spell. She draws constantly, but cannot draw well at all. She seems to be trying to absorb lots of human knowledge but is incompatible with it.

Thanks. Yeti was generally what I was looking for. If there were any on the Islands I think the Japanese must have killed them out in ancient time, but neither the Ainu nor the Jomon probably did I beleive. I think the Jomon and Ainu were too busy with the Giants they said they had wars with.

And I have trouble finding it, but in old European maps, the unknown areas are marked by weirdly deformed humanoid creatures that can be interpreted as heavily exaggerated characteristics of other people and cultures they never had direct contact with but came to that continent through myths.

the japanese yokai is so unclear as to what they really are. They're can be demons, ghosts, goblins (pretty much any species non-human in the physical realm), humans turned super natural, and something altogether inbetween. It makes ot quite hard to figure out what you are about to go up against in battle or what exactly are you moral boarders if a Yokai woman falls in love with you.

I've known about these movies for some time now and have even watched a few of them, but they mostly consist of Japanese Kuroneko (Wild ghost Cat) movies. The second part of the list is all neko horror. I believe the Japanese originally made so many, because the Kuroneko stories use to run rampant in the old Japan, with many seeing such evil creatures. Since they were adapted into films my theory says this is partially why we see so many past and preset Japanese manga artists who sexualize them into fetishes for the Child world we now call post-modern Japan.

Simply not true. Aryans existed before vikings and were Oni. They were giants and some even had horns. Everyone hates the ending. Obibaba ends similar to it. It's that specifuc directors name. Most people in the Japanese film community find him very pathetic, but since he gaines so much fame the studios always just kept using him to make a profit.
