I've noticed that a lot of skinny people can drink a lot. I live above a pub, and its always the scrawny ones who can drink the most. Look at Namasensei, he's not very well built either. Perhaps their metabolisms are faster, so they don't get a hangover as bad?

But seriously, beer otaku don't drink beer just to get drunk. I went to a CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) event once. Everyone bought their ale, sniffed it for about twenty seconds, acted like the scent was giving them an orgasm, took a few sips, and then wrote notes in their little notebooks. It reminded me of people who watch trains and take notes on them.

Combining /jp/ with a demanding life is demanding, and usually people just drop the /jp/ entirely because it's not a very constructive place in the conventional sense. Opening the web browser and seeing a niggy thread (especially without knowing what's going on) after doing something difficult invokes a disorientating and disheartening feeling.

Back to the topic:
Ugly idiots are disliked and joked about because so many of them are ready to resort to cheating (lying, threatening, violence, slander, disinformation, censorship) in order to *[1], which is essential for fitting in. Some men really are total pigs. All sustainable communities are used to dealing with these kind of troublemakers.

Because this is reality, hordes of people love to exploit the idea and mention it even when it's not applicable. It's also cheating, but it's relatively innocent and many people consider it perfectly acceptable. It varies how much people trust in mental pictures. The less knowledgeable may or may not lean towards it.

I actually haven't played the demo. I guess there's always the chance that the timing window is shorter. I'm not a great player by any means -- I've only 1cced about half the games on hard -- so it might just be me. But I've never had as much trouble deathbombing in a Touhou game before.
