The majority of China didn't start hating Japan until Japan started supporting the reemergence and take over of the new Imperial China. There was that one time where the Japanese Emperor insulted the Chinese Emperor in a reply envoy calling him the "King of heaven under the SETTING sun" though. That cause a ruckus or two.

They all look the same though. I can understand hating nignogs because they are an entirely different species, but hating someone so identical to you? That is shameful.

There are also lots of people in China who really like Japan. Their scanlation and fansubbing scene is bigger and faster than the whole English one. I heard someone saying on /a/ that the Chinese government is almost desperate about the youths' love for Japan. I bet most of these anti-Japan movies are simply sponsored by the government.
