Might as well put the nails on the coffin and let the idea die right after this:

The protagonist finds himself in a cluttered cockpit, with him in the empty seat that seemed to be for a wingman; it is stained with dried blood. The girl does not look back even once, attempting to fix the mecha and calling on the repair support. Suddenly, an alarm sounds--proximity alert for a bomb or a missile. When an impact occurs, the cockpit shook and rattled. When it was over, the girl tried to reactivate the mecha by voice, which did not work by the look of a darkened cockpit. After a while, she gives up, opening the cockpit--and both see the remnants of what used to be a thriving town, now bombed with nothing that looks to be alive as far as they could see. With the mecha nonfunctional and nowhere to go, the two walk off, trying to find help while learning about each other.

This is the farthest I've gotten, so far.

The girl you're interested in is actually a projection of herself. She's actually kept prisoner in her basement because she was 'unnatural' and then her parents were killed/moved away/etc. And oh yeah, they were sorcerers or something like that. So, its up to you to decide what you do --> do you stay with the apparition/ghost? Do you go try and save her?
Hopefully you try and save her, because when you do, you go into the basement and discover all the magical barriers and shit that's down there. Then you get sucked into the magical world (not a physical world..but like you become aware of everything that happens that is magic) and perhaps things get over your head...but youve got to save her anyway.

True end: when you save her, she smiles, turns to dust and blows away, because she's like hundreds of years old
Good end: you save her, and live happily ever after, but there's some sad things that have to do with her backstory etc.

Here's a semi-serious one;

Setting is in the future, probably not too far off - but the main thing that's changed is the criminal reform system, in that it actually tries to reform deviants and such. So it happens, you are playing as someone who is about to go through said reform system, which is going to involve some sort of semi-brainwashing, VR-esque trip of sorts. Anyhow, there's probably going to be a good variety of different settings within (since it is sort of VR), depending on which path you choose to purse. Ideally, this VN would be the type that would result in the player having a good part in defining the background protagonist, maybe even to the extent of being to choose your sex (though this might involve a good deal of extra writing/rewriting to accomendate certain situations) - the main thing probably being what "flaw" he/she was sent there to correct, which would end up determining the story's progression.

From here on out it's not really clear, though I thought it might be interesting to model the paths in parallel with the "7 Deadly Sins" (cliched or not as it may be), each path would sort of be a vignette of sorts revolving around that struggle to correct (or not correct) the said "sin." The mood of the story ideally would flow in accordance to the player's decisions. For example, if the player is indeed intent on reforming him/herself, the story will probably end up with a moralistic, probably uplifiting tale of redemption. Towards the other extreme, it may end up with a rather darker, perhaps cynical tone (ie, trying to deconstruct why such a thing is "sin" at all, or simply the player hedonistically indulging him/herself in the "sin"). Middle ground choices are harder to define, and may end up kind of bipolar as a result .

Anyways, the futuristic setting doesn't really play into this much at all - though I guess you can always add some bits debating the ethics of using such a method of reform, except being a springboard for this sort of progression. Heck, it's likely that you can omit it all together in the beginning, and throw it in during the endings for some extra tweeest.

So it's WW2 right? There are these Russian lolis that you, the protagonist, command in the fight for freedom! It would include intense shootouts, h-scenes in a tank, a tough decision that could lead to one loli's sacrifice. An action eroge complete with a Nazi spy route, along with SS loli, her whip, and an all nude all loli death metal band!

The main heroine has an incurable disease and you have to kill vampires in order to heal her illness. But the only way to kill these vampires is collecting theirs souls. Soon after you discovered the disease was caused by space witches and which makes you scratch your throat to death, your sister died this way. The main heroine get hospitalized and you start cheating on her with her best friend. After one year you see her walking in the city stealing tayakis, but for some reason you can't remember about her. In the end you discover she's in coma and the only way to save her life is killing yourself to liberate enough mana capable of healing her disease. You reincarnate as a servant and protect her for the you life.

END.

Yeah, that aspect will probably have to be toned down since I'm a pretty poor programmer/scripter. It'll probably be reduced to one or two generic characters whose personalities will be molded as you make choices in the game. I've probably should scale down the philosophical aspect somewhat so it doesn't end up all NASUsophical. But still, an idea.

It looks like a normal-ish H-game, except something different appears halfway through each girl's path and unavoidably destroys the world. After you've beaten all the normal girls' paths, a new loli appears.

When you take on the loli's path, she actively hates on you all the time. You must be some kind of masochist to be hanging out with her. Then about halfway through, she totally goes off on you for trying to become important to her, and tells you that you, the other girls, and this whole world only exist in her imagination.

Then just to show you she's serious, she switches bodies with you, rapes you, and puts out the sun. I'm not really sure what would happen after that.

Here's my idea for a VN: You're a poor out-of-work student who plots the murder of a rich evil old pawnbroker woman who does no good for society, but your plan catches a hitch when you have to kill a witness at the scene, her good-natured sister. You have to deal with the moral implications of your crime as the police call you in for questioning, since you sometimes sold things to her to make a few quick bucks. At around the same time, you discover your sister is marrying an asshole because he has a lot of money and prospects, all on account of your poverty.

There are two characters and you switch between them.

One wakes up not knowing anything about himself, but has a list of people he is compelled to kill, and has a full range of knowledge as to how to do it.

The other wakes up much the same way, but feels compelled to stop the other character by any means necessary, with knowledge of how the other will act.

The truth at the end is that they're both projects of the same group: one, a conditioned sleeper unit that can be activated on command, and the other, his retrieval unit that is sent out to silence him should he ever go awry.

Obviously, both experiments must go horribly wrong, they must find each other and discover their shared problem, and then it probably ends with the boss of the project that created them turning out to be another project with an unknown purpose.

Probably ends with the female anti-agent going nuts and killing the first one at the end of hatesex, and then offing herself in the most glorious way possible; because, as we all know, you can't escape societal conditioning.

I have been toying with this idea for a VN. I'll post it since it's not very likely it'll get anywhere:

You play as this ordinary, unremarkable emo guy who hates people and finds the world boring. But then little by little you start to notice that things around you start to change. People, specially girls, are acting nicer and seem attracted to you, and good things, either directly on in the form of fantastic coincidences, start to happen.

Then you notice that these people and the world itself are working in a predetermined fashion. You feel that you don't have full free will anymore, instead you just choose between a couple of options. By then you realize that your life has become an eroge, and you have to struggle out of it before you run out of time. Because by either reaching a GOOD or BAD END, it'll all be over.
