Yeah...I'm an oldfag. I remember the great battle of J. 2012. Got no rest. Got no mercy. Every day you were being shot at like a deer in hunting season upon just popping your head out of that trench. Every hour of every day you were in danger of shit gas bombs going off and you didn't know when the might strike. The enemy would sometimes dress up in Saten cosplay and you had no clue who was who. Much blood and tears were shed, and some people were so traumatized be the horror they saw that they wouldn't stop fapping till they had to be put out of their misery. The scars will last forever. Never forget our brothers that fought for us in that dark time.

Well I started using this board when I was 16. I'm 20 now. Maybe because they just move in and out in waves and many don't even bother saying their age. I wish I was 16-17 again speaking of that. I don't wanna get any older.

Same. I'm almost 21 now and I've been browsing /jp/ since 2008, which makes me a faggot but I don't give a fuck because there's shitposters 10 years older than me now who got here last year. Anons used to post about being in their mid 20s and at the time that seemed a lifetime away, like I'd fix my life before reaching that point. Now I feel like I've already joined the downward spiral.

No regrets.

I'm on a downward spiral too, a lot of shit is just starting to fall apart in my life already. I just don't want to get any older because I miss the comfort of being that young. It was shit but it was safer shit if you know what I mean.

If a guard gets tired of guarding a building and leaves it to get pillaged by thieves and rapists then the guard is the one at fault. AoC pretends to care with his "have a nice day" threads, but caring isn't about words or emotions. Caring is taking devoting yourself to something even when you hate it, even when it seems impossible. AoC is a coward.

>> No.10616105

>>10615920
Exactly. Those we call oldfags as a whole have come to fully understand this phenomena for a good fucking while now.

It's true, they fought their battles in their day but boards on *chans have gone down one of two paths.

They either become like /b/ (their demographic changes complete 180 as many 'newfags' flood the board, embracing cancer and faggotry that the older generations throughly rejected) or become like 7chan (rejecting the memes and internet culture that fostered their being out of fear of becoming like /b/, which just lead to their deaths by the fact that too few people would care about going there anymore). That or the boards are so new that they were born into the newfaggotry.
