Ah, I finally got it down pat!

You know how some butter is really hard, especially when refrigerated?
Then you go to put it on your toast, and you have to press so hard that the toast and butter mush together and there's uneven pools, it's not nice to see... Or eat!

So what you do is simply take the toast while it's hot and very gently rub the butter over the toast a few times, and the heat will make the butter softer.

Then you can butter as normal without crushing your slices and making a mess!

This can take a little while, so what you do then is, while you're doing the trick, pop the other slices back into the toaster. Don't leave them too long, or they could burn! You just wanna keep 'em warm enough to melt the butter, you got it?

Though, whenever I pop mine back in to keep them warm, to pop 'em back out again I gotta smack the toaster because they get stuck... So watch out for that! I don't want anyone's toast ruined on my account...

I hope this clears things up for you guys. (´・ω・`)
Enjoy!

If it really bothers you that much, whip your butter. The toast will be long cold before the clump of butter required to properly cover a piece of toast will be completely melted.

I made a cheese toastie earlier. Me mum puts the bread in the fridge (wtf) and the cheese in the fridge, but they both melted just right in the grill. It was right nice and I think people should do the same for butter. Make butter sarnies because no poor sod has only one slice of toast, you have two or more.

Refrigerated bread goes stale faster, though.

At low temperatures, crystallisation of the yeast occurs, causing it to clump together. This process is much slower at room temperature.

This thread is proof that janiturd doesn't know shit about otaku culture. He probably thinks this thread is some sort of otaku reference because of shit like "le denko face" and the anime picture, but he doesn't know what so he's just going to leave it. All the borderline blogposting reinforces his belief.
Hopefully he won't read this spoiler, because I want to see /jp/ sink into shit.

I love bagels so much, I can eat them every day if they are made fresh. Around where I live there is this place called Brueggers Bagels and they make the best bagels I have ever eaten. The cinnamon sugar and cheese ones are my favorite. If I'm really lucky I get the softer, lighter colored ones and it's like heaven in my mouth. Don't get to get bagels much from there anymore.
