It's fun, you chain your skills to your attack combos.

For fighter it's just like above. For gunners you get to shoot bullets in an aoe or if you roll an Elf you get longer range. If you roll Instrumentalists or the violin players you play just like a mage.

People have taken "condense your threads" too far. It's not like we only have one or two slots for threads. If you want to discuss a VN and have a proper conversation about it, not just "I downloaded this" or "How do you get the X route?" then make a thread. We need broader conversational topics otherwise we might as well just have Touhou General, VN General, and Idols General, or something like that.

i actaully cant get it working with the DDL; i havent used Happy Cloud. I'm not sure how cloud would work for me because I want to mod the game and from what i understand the cloud method wont have a majority of the armor/clothing data files to be able to edit until i encounter it. or something.

i install the DDL version, (though for some reason the game doesn't take up any of my HDD space; i assume it actaully DLs the game through the patcher) and i run the TERA-launcher.exe (as admin on a separate drive from C:) and it just duds out every time. pops up some window about how the launcher is already running or something. killing the process and retrying doesnt work, clearing the patcher cache doesnt work.

ive sent in a ticket, but apparently it wont even be looked at, let alone answered, in 7 days according to the website, which is just ridiculous if you ask me.

i wish it would just work. nothing seems to be wrong. i just want to play an elin.

If the cloud hasn't downloaded them, it probably won't matter since you're adding new files.

Had you seen the more recent method for modding Tera? Use a "_folder" to give priority to your modded files. For example:

Original: /Tera/client/S1game/CookedPC/Art_Data/Packages/CH/PC
Priority modded files: /Tera/client/S1game/CookedPC/Art_Data/Packages/CH/_PC

(_PC) folder has loading priority over (PC).

Maybe there's some other issue with the cloud loader though.
