Can we have a Japanese snack thread? What are your all time favourites?

Pic related. Stupidass bitch ate all my Pocky. Already regret buying her for set completion.

I like Mikado better than Pocky. For some reason, the Japanese don't do chocolate very well, and I'm not a big fan of the other flavours.

Pocky's biscuit is way nicer though. I've had Pretz once, but they were nice.

I lift. No family history of diabetes also good. Irony is if I were terribly out of shape I wouldn't have had to do a stint in the service.

I tried those. They were alright. I just really like strawberry though. Also like the koala stuff. Hi-chew is nice too.

Popin' Cookin'

They're kits to make your own candy bentos, sushi, ice cream, etc. You get little spoons and mixtures and stuff and you make kawaii little candy versions of your favorite Japanese foods.

>> No.10536511

I don't really like Pocky or many Japanese snacks or even food in general.

I do like Ramune a lot though. And I'm waiting for a case of UCC coffee because apparently, in the US, canned coffee does not exist.

Why is this?

You can get canned coffee at some supermarkets here in the UK, but it's niche and expensive.

I think a lot of the world would benefit from canned coffee.

I do enjoy strawberry and milk pocky. I also am in love with green tea kit-kats. Besides that nothing I have access to that's Japanese besides online.

Oh wait I think I know what you're talking about now that I think about it. Like those Starbucks Doubleshot cans of coffee? If that's what you guys mean then I drink those occasionally. Pretty good when I can't actually go to Starbucks at the time. I like Starbucks lattes and Frappucinos.

Yep, like those. I'm not sure if they're true canned coffee or some sort of coffee energy drink, though, because they're always with the energy drinks and come in the same cans.

Japan has vending machines and stuff that sell lots of different kinds of coffee that has been brewed and canned:

>> No.10536700

>>10536639
those arent even actual canned coffee. more like coffee flavored energy drinks. the only canned coffee ive been able to find are these mocha or vanilla columbus roasters cans from the local community collge vending machines.

canned coffee is huge in japan but not so much elsewhere for some reason.

It's just espresso in milk I believe (may be more in them but they are pretty strong and taste good so I don't care either way). There are those Java Monsters though and those are coffee energy drinks, the only drinks I can put under that label that I know of. I never drink them though. Energy drinks are more popular everywhere else because coffee shops are more common probably.

Tohato Habanero Crisps. I was without them for two years because I couldn't find them anywhere. Found them again last December. I like spicy things.

When searching for an example pic, I found out theres different flavours and stuff, although I've never seen them. Guess I have to search better next time.
