Actually, a lot of Touhous have regenerative qualities, so most should be able to survive being popped (at least the youkai ones). As long as you don't stab them with legendary weaponry or disintegrate them with high level magic they're fine.
Yuuka and Aya for example would be able to fix themselves up eventually. Alice and Youmu are more iffy though as they're pretty close to human.
