Who is your favorite VN protagonist, not heroine, not side character, protagonist. My vote goes to Mary Clarissa Christie from Sharnoth. About as strong as the average woman, and is only good at academics and running, but there is no denying that she's altruistic.

Why is it that the protagonist in every single Japanese media I've seen winds up awkward and nervous in that situation? It's one of the biggest cliches in VN history. Just once, I'd like to see the main wake up, see a girl he knows sleeping next to him, and promptly snuggle her in a warm embrace.

I loved that route, it has my favorite scene in the world of VN's. Where Shiki agrees with SHIKI that akiha isn't his real sister, she is his woman.
And where both shikis again drink coffee in the middle of the night.

I think that were SHIKI and Nero. I believed at first that it were Shiki and Roa having a good time until later where I learned that Shiki wasn't the killer.

There's a scene in Kagetsu Tohya though, where both Shikis drink sake together.
