I didn't like the gameplay very much either. Thankfully they give you the option to just skip it, which I did after the first playthrough. but you can do it there too

Another problem I had with the game was that the girls didn't feel very fleshed out. One of them for instance goes from completely despising the protagonist to falling in love with him. It didn't help that they didn't have routes either.

Other than that I liked the game overall. The story felt solid.

I thought the common route was the best part of Kajitsu. All the banter and humor were great for me, while the individual routes were where the game lose some of its momentum and feel somewhat slow, with the exception of Amane and Makina routes.
