How did they even come to that conclusion? Hadaka's scenes were fairly tame in comparison to what's out there. But compared to what's in BL games I suppose the scenes were a touch more hardcore than usual. Some people should honestly lighten up and see it for the comedic gold that it is.

Admittedly, the only title I've read of theirs is Shingakkou but it's easily my favourite BL game. It was surprisingly very solidly put together. Emotionally draining at times, but a beautiful piece of work overall. I came across a Japanese review a while back saying that the characters were tailored to very specific tastes, but I thought they were all very likable. That Cecil was the kind of guy you'd find in an old June title, Leonid was the more popular BL guy, Neil was the bro next door and August was something straight out of a Haigo Moto manga. Michael was a brilliant character too, and his seiyuu did a fantastic job at voicing both him and Gabriel. The only character I didn't particularly like was probably Abel, but at the end of the day he had valid reasons himself for being so awful. No one felt especially flat.

If I had any faults with it, it'd be that it felt too linear at times and the shit about August not aging due to an irremovable bullet lodged in his brain.

I plan on reading the rest of their catalogue sooner rather than later. Especially since there's what, only two other titles that they have?

I know, right? The first time I read Shingakkou I don't think I really understood him properly but the second time around I felt immense pity for him, amongst other things. Guy never managed to grow up. Classmates of his like Lazarus progressed and matured while he stayed the same, stewing in childish thoughts and getting so much worse. I mean, he thought the same things as Michael who was 15 - 17 at like 60/70. Not to mention countless other things such as treating Abel as his familiar when the guy just really liked him and was pretty messed up as well.

I sort of hated the oh so wacky treatment August and Michael got in the FD, with the Madoka quotes and ツンツン shit on Michael's behalf. Their voice acting also slipped several notches, I noticed.

You're somewhat right. It's mostly due to JAST having lost money on Enzai and Zettai whatever a few years ago as they were rather poor choices for the first BL games to come to the west. They alienated the ~wah bishies~ crowd, which would have been the core market. I heard later on they got popular with the gay crowd, though.

There has been some interest, but not much. Mangagamer were curious a while back if anyone wanted to see BL games from a company spawning off from Baseson. The game they were pushing looked fairly lighthearted with terrible art. JAST supposedly haven't been all that receptive with regards to publishing the Chiral line. If you really wanted BL games you'd probably have to directly get in contact with them to show that you've an interest.

Ichinose was ranked #4 in B's Log's character ranking last month for s/ome reason. I think he's the only one to regularly show up on that list he beat Aoba by a wide margin too, but Akira and Shiki are still #1 & 2 respectively because Japan. I think he's the most popular for some reason.

The (Temporary) God feature. If I'm reading this correctly it's being sold as two separate games. One is the "school" edition where you bring happiness to good people and the other is the "street" edition where you make bad people turn over a new leaf. Haven't really been following this one too much, but the art looks pretty nice and the concept sounds intriguing.
