In Winter it all feels the same to me, except actual Sunday is even more depressing and slow moving. Friday is drink coffee and play games till your head feels like it's going to explode and stick with whoever is heading out to eat later in the house so I can at least be somewhere else other than here for a while. Saturday is basically the same shit. Sunday is just "have a horrible crash and feel miserable and uncomfortable" day. Then life repeats itself like a broken record till next weekend. A few days ago I decided to see if any of the newer GBA/DS Pokemon games felt like the older ones, so I downloaded Emerald. I've been playing it for the last two days while laying in bed drinking tea. I've always felt a strange sense of sexual arousal controlling a cute girl character and Emerald has not let me down. Some of the trainer sprites even turn me on a bit, as do the comments saying how dirty the character looks. Most of all, the game feels expansive, is relaxing to play, and the music is nice. When I beat this one I'll move through the newer games.

Time and time again the pleasure of playing older games emulated surprises me.

Recall the Calvinist of Geneva: Earthly things are given by God to those who work hard, for it is Man's fatten to toil among barren, hostile lands and live by the sweat of his brow (blah blah blah read Genesis). I just said. Surely there are people who enjoy farming or making foods so much that they would give them away for free, or perhaps to gain a bit of reuptation with the community.

If I had access to desserts I would make them and give them away, but I don't. If a farmer with the same mindset had access to produce and farm animals, wouldn't he give them away?

>Knowledge = Power

You can't just put an equal sign here. "Knowledge is power" doesn't mean that "power" is the same as "knowledge". "Is" isn't commutative here. It means that "knowledge" imply "power". Therefore, your substitution in the second equation doesn't work.

>> No.10438933

To make it clearer, what I meant was there are people out there who have jobs who don't consider them work. They enjoy what they do, so they consider what they do to literally be what they do. For instance, someone who makes cups. The whole process can be pleasurable, from the mixing of the sand to the melting, blowing, bending, ect.

People who enjoy what they do probably wouldn't care if they got paid or not. The main thing for them is that they're doing what they feel like they're meant to do. The money (if any) is just a bonus.

Obviously today you can't get by like that because you need so much money, but if everyone suddenly decided to not care about money anymore, things could probably work.

After all, a lot of things made today (aside from certain electronics/things with circuitboards) aren't exactly difficult to make. Most items can be made by hand, and somebody will enjoy doing it.

>> No.10438945

>>10438933
>for free
Virtually nothing is for free. Reciprocity is a cornerstone of human society. Relying only on one-sided charity of others is not an ideal survival strategy. Faced with limited resources individual rational actors won't be itching to give free food and other amenities to people who are bent on contributing nothing in return to them or their society. That's even if they enjoy doing what they do and have a perceived surplus in the community. The surplus can be traded for other goods and services they need or just hoarded for power and influence like what the wealthy have been doing for ages. There is no general trickle down just for the sake of being charitable.

No. There are not. Even if there were, there would not be enough of them. Also, land is scarce, and are there going to be people who really enjoy digging irrigation ditches to water the farms? People who love running power plants so much they give away energy? People who wake up every morning just dying to keep the sewers in working order? People who do all the unseen shit that you never think of but depend on for the standard of living that you are used to?

Get you head out of the damn clouds and be realistic. You sound ridiculous. You seem to think that sustenance farming would lead to happiness. It doesn't. It leads to 30 year life spans.

I recently decided that I would start fixing up my grandfather's motorcycle. It's a Honda S90 like in the pic, only in worse condition. It's been sitting in the garage for about fifteen years and the only reason I decided to fix it up was because I discovered the service manual that shows the specifications for the bike and how the thing is put together, with exploded views. My grandmother went along with the idea pretty nicely, which is odd for her towards any of my ideas.

Hoping to get it running by summer.

That's relative, consent age ranges from 13-21 in the civilized world.
It's illegal to kidnap, force, blackmail or deceit kids as it's with mature humans, but it's really bad loving them? Love doesn't know of age and if it's proven to be legit who are you to deny it?

Let me quote Mark Twain:
“The law of God, as quite plainly expressed in woman's construction, is this: There shall be no limit put upon your intercourse with the other sex sexually, at any time of life. During twenty-three days in every month (in the absence of pregnancy) from the time a woman is seven years old till she dies of old age, she is ready for action, and competent. As competent as the candlestick is to receive the candle. Competent every day, competent every night. Now i thought i was pathetic.
But what in gods name is wrong with some of you?
I mean seriously calling people "normalfaggots", claiming that NEET's somehow make the world go round and claiming to be super intellectuals.

"oh hey i left school because i wanted to go anymore, ive never had i job because i didnt want one"
Grow the fuck up. The fact that you claim to not be an idiot make this even worse.
I can only imagine that your currently living off your parents or on welfare, the latter is ment to help people though tough times whilst inbetween jobs not cater to you. That make you feel big? Because when it come down to it your just a selfish brat who obviously has no idea how the world works and has probably never been more then 5 miles away from your home.
You need to grow up.

Im not aiming this at all of you, im sure like me some of you have legit reasons for currently being a NEET and want to actually do something.

Also I'm not a eunuch so I can't speak for them but I gotta guess what they have is platonic love or variants of it, shit's weird.

There have always been two types of NEET. One seems genuinely happy and content living a life with a dim future and minimal social interactions.

The other is pretty much the opposite in that they long first and foremost for social interaction. Most everything in their life is governed by their desire for interaction. Following that they would like a promising future, which usually means worrying about entering schooling or training of some sort eventually in the future. Finally, they're discontent with the labels society has put on them and would like to change their lives for the "better".

Disgusting people, that second group. They really are the lowest of the low. Especially all the people here wanting to get a job, longing for friends outside and being depressed about their NEET lifestyle. Just die already if you are so sad about your NEET life.

Can you not see the flaws your logic.
This isnt the first time ive been a NEET.
When i left school i suffered from major anxiety and depression because i was regularly beat as a child. I did absolutely nothing for about a year. But you know what?
All that time i wanted to do something about it, i wanted to get a job, i wanted to get out the house. And it took me way to long but i maned the fuck up and got on with it.

I didnt sit making posts on the internet about how awesome being being a NEET is and trying to convince myself that this is anyway to live.

you adamant about absolutely having to have sex with anything you love. i'll concede there are many kinds of love but even if you are attracted to a child if you think you care enough about them to love them surely you'd think to yourself that maybe they're not able to understand the implications of having sex and the dangers surrounding it.

Sorry but I have to correct you, I love women with all my might, there's some I just like to fuck and others who are attractive for something more, the range of age is not limited, I could say I wouldn't a 3 year old like I wouldn't a 80, but that's because I've not seen yet an attractive 3 or 80 years old, I'll leave it in that.

Although threre's something I'd like to detail, women this days are driven by certain habits that are socially acceptable but that I find disgusting and that younger women don't share, that's probably a reason why I would find the last ones more desirable.

School conditioned me to hate mornings, but I actually like them now that I don't have anywhere to be.

I've spent the last year going to sleep around 3-6AM and waking up between noon and 3PM. I really hate it, it makes me feel so lazy, and having all the fun things that happen on the internet start right in the middle of my "day" pretty much dooms me to unproductivity. Only thing I like about it is getting the house to myself for a few hours, but what's the point if I'm just going to jerk off and play video games?

How should I go about transitioning to becoming a morning person? I got up at 8AM today on accident with very little sleep, but if I can make it through today, I think I'd like to keep waking up around that time.

I notice the same thing as well and also get more done in the mornings typically. I don't necessarily even always like having sunlight in my room, but the amount of light that comes in during dawn and a few hours after feels just perfect to me. It usually improves my mood, but the longer the day goes by, I sometimes get either anxious or bothered by the amount of sunlight coming inside my room if it's too much. If it's overcast and grey outside though, I don't usually mind it so much though, because it generally provides the perfect amount of light all throughout the day for me.

Anyone else feel this way?

Just do whatever you can to keep yourself awake. Try to force yourself to do as much as possible during the day, maybe even exercise just for that one day. Consume caffine products, plenty of water, and maybe some fiber and protein to help keep you energized. I have an easymodo method of keeping myself on an early morning schedule though and awake through most of the day, and that's through my prescribed medication. Without it, I cannot function at all.

I also find that I am far less productive and willing to do things though like you say if I wake up extremely late in the day, like right at noon or later. It just makes me feel incredibly shitty for the rest of the day, and then after it starts to get dark outside, it becomes a huge pain to get myself to do anything I enjoy.

Online friends are great because you can block them any time. Just go in-game and tell people you had fun with that you add them.

Sometimes it works out, without having to force anything to keep them up. Just be whoever you like and then you find suited people.

>> No.10440873

>>10440861
I don't necessarily feel like I'm "forcing" anything. I just get fed up with them all of a sudden, like I need to "maintain" our relationship or something, like I'm obligated to them in some way.

Can either of you see how incredibly selfish this mentality is?

People are only good so long as I can tolerate them. Once I'm sick of someone, rid them from my presence. Their feelings aren't important. Just that I enjoy their company.

Relationships aren't just about you.

That's really silly, if you don't like someone you don't have any obligation to offer them your time. It might be nice to communicate the situation politely before you break off contact, but there's absolutely nothing selfish about not associating with people you don't like. If a “relationship” isn't working for you, it's not working.

I'm curious, what do you expect this theoretical acquaintance that doesn't like you to do?

>> No.10440924

>>10440898
I could never bring myself to do that to someone. I may remove them from my friends list if we hardly talked at all and they were just there at one point or another for a really stupid reason but I never block anyone unless they are really mean to me or annoy me to death which takes a real asshole because I'm as tolerant as it gets. Other people I talked to a lot in the past and only occasionally speak to now I still just keep around on my friends list since they aren't doing any harm by being there and I'm always welcoming of them to speak to me about anything.

Yes, I have... uh, two online friends. I play Dota with one to pass the time and discuss video games and other things with the other. I manage to keep them solely because I feel that adding someone as a friend in any internet social service is an obligation that I have to be there for them every day of every month of every year. I decline all friend requests these days if I feel like I won't be able to frequently talk with them and provide mutual entertainment. This need for meaningful relationships will be the bane of me one day.

As long as you don't get into a habit of logging on and/or playing online games every day, no one will see you as "part of their day," and you'll never feel obligated to do anything. Doesn't mean you can't play games with them or shit the shit about doujins and whatever anime is airing every now and then.

NEET is the only tru way to live and if you disagree you're nothing but a brainwashed simpleton peasant serf who needs to take a time machine back to the 10th century. NEETs are the future. There will be so little work but so much excess and surplus that people will probably be called once a year to work a 5 hour shift twice a week and every other year they live is for free.

There'll still be work of course but it'll be so spread out and production will be so high that pretty much everybody can live freely and for free.

I promise you that if you counted activity by hours instead of bodies - I'm sure there are plenty of people that come home from school and tab to the board to post about sex with Youmu and Sanae's ten desires between checking tumblr and shrinemaiden - you would find that /jp/ is a NEET majority. He never spoke in guild chat unless it was something important and everyone would always try to get him to talk or respond

He eventually left the guild and everyone thought it was because he got tired of everyone always bothering him and trying to get him to talk, people even got to the point where they were trying to stalk him in-game, I always wonder if that was why he left or if there was something else

Come at me you plebian. I am the fucking pinnacle of man, both body and mind. I attend an Ivy league university, completely payed off by scholarships, with the leftover money used to buy myself a luxury vehicle. My grade point average is perfect point O. After I finish my dual bachelors I will be accepted straight away into the doctorate program. I will have two doctorate degree's by age twenty-five, owe zero debts, and make more money a year than you will in a lifetime. The funny thing is, this is the average /jp/ browser. There are many who far surpass me.

Of course, knowing this, you figure the only way to attack me is the only way you know how, using words of which the meaning escapes you, insult NEET's which you know nothing about, and trying to be superior by using a tripcode and making up fake details about your life that have never happened.

You forgot your "My face when" by the way, the text suits you perfectly.
