Plot was crap. It tried, it tried hard, and I've got to give it credit for that, but it was still crap. D/P/Pt. had a better plot than B/W.

The new pokemon were mostly terrible and you couldn't fall back on old favorites. The game was INCREDIBLY linear, even for a pokemon game; no side areas to explore. No complexity at all to the dungeons either; the way to deal with players being annoyed by puzzles is to make them better, not fucking remove them completely. Not needing HMs to progress does mean you don't need to lug around an HM slave, but it also takes out all the progression of finding new abilities to continue your journey, replacing them with NPCs standing in your way until you beat the gym leader or talk to someone. Again and again and again.
And the game was so fucking easy. And I mean REALLY fucking easy. Pokemon games have never been very hard, but god damn, NOTHING in this game was challenging at all, not even remotely, except the final boss and only barely even then.

Honestly I agree too, I've never played a pokemon game for the plot. In BW2 I just sped through it as quick as possible so I could adventure about the world and train my pokemon though I'm sure the games are getting a lot easier as I beat the elite 4 both times first try without having any trouble like I'd had in previous games. (Last game I played before B2 was pearl)

Also, Black City/White Forest was absolute bullshit. White gets a forest with about 100 old generation pokemon to catch that you can't find anywhere else, and Black gets a city full of...items. Oh fuck yes, a thunder stone, THIS is what I play Pokemon games for.

I like the fact that they made new models for X/Y instead of using the horrible ones from Colloseum/BR/Pokedex Pro.

The game itself is pretty boring. But i really like the sales strategy and marketing related to pokémon. It's pretty interesting how good it works to exploit idiots and kids.

The games are alright. Too little new ideas and things each time though. The next games seem bit better than the usual games they put out. The 3D thing is something Ive wanted since I was a kid. It took them this long to try out something new now that the sales mustve started to decline or whatever. I dislike the idea of selling 2 games at the same time so.. fuck buying them, I have better things to use my money on.
I think it would be a good idea if they made the world feel alive instead of a dead place with hollow zombies around that want to make your pokedudes suffer. A story that could be called a story would be pretty nice too, but I know that those arent the main point of the games. The point is to.. catch them all I guess.
