Moon rabbits are unusual youkai, with Reisen Udonge being the strangest of them (At least, since she has the most rounded out personality.). They do seem to be beast youkai according to PMiSS, but they do not eat humans. From CiLR, they appear to be educated (One of them starts going on about conversation of mass or something).

Reisen is strange in the fact that she does not converse with her own kind or seem to want to converse with her own kind. Their ears are also real and are probably related to a caste system (The emissiary-elite bunnies have those funy ears, whilst the civilian ones have floppy ears.).
