It was awesome right up around EP5 where it all went to shit. Which is a shame, because the music throughout the series is fucking awesome.

I still think Shkanontrice is fucking stupid, and was one of the biggest downfalls of the series.

Only thing really bothering me is the whole idea that you are allowed replace people by claiming they "changed their personality".

I can just imagine how a discussion would be "It was impossible for Jessica to kill them".... "But for Jess, her secret alternative personality, it was all so easy!"

the whole meta bullshit was just so stupid.
I enjoyed the tragedy and finding out who did everything, but so many stupid meta characters.

EP5 and 7 were my favourite. Never played 8. Figured there was no point since 7 answered everything.

i understand why people dont like the fantasy part of the story because something like that normally doesnt belong in a mystery story. but they told with it very beautiful story's and the fantasy is a big part of the mystery too. it has a unique mix into it

but just saying the didnt like shkanontrice is dump because there is a lot more into it than just that. for me is the takano plot really bad, but it still has it's reasoning and in umineko it's a lot stronger wich you can clearly see in the background story
