How many of you have seen the live action Higurashi movies?

Does "anime staffs" mean DEEN?

I want a Higurashi anime reboot, but not by DEEN, what's the point of that.

Haven't read the manga or VN, but jesus christ was the anime terrible.
Who even cares about higurashi anymore, anyway? It's certainly not something anybody seriously into anime would consider a "classic".

I love how anime today is so shit that they can remake shows 10 years old as a 'reboot' and resell the same crap over again.

You will understand what the writer wanted you to understand at that point. You won't understand what it all means, but it's intentional. Unlike the anime, where you can barely follow the story.
Also, the VN had some important hints in these episodes, which were much harder to get from the anime.
I'm saying this as a person who had watched the anime first and then read the VN.

What? As an adaptation, Rei was far better than Kai. Obviously, the resolution was in Kai, and therefore Rei lacks something, but I remember that, when I started watching Rei I though "Keichi, is nice to see you animated at last, and not some other guy that looks like you". I know I'm exaggerating, but that's how I felt back then.
