Damn straight I would. It might be a pain to nail all my shit down, though.

>> No.10210153

The ball also floats so you can live in a lake if you want.

>> No.10210157

I'm not in a flood-plain, so I'm not really interested. However, it seems pretty cool, and alright for a hut, and a hut is about all of the space I could ever use, so I guess I wouldn't pass on it if it had rudimentary power and stable Internet.

I would really enjoy that, but I'm not thrilled about the large bathroom window; that needs to be frosted at the very least.

>> No.10210208

>>10210187
That really bothered me too. I guess the idea is you can put a curtain fitting or something there. I would want that for all the windows.

What's cool about this is that it has "negative living costs". You get some grant for generating electricity, and you end up profiting from it annually (not by much, a few hundred pounds or so).
Unfortunately the Cube itself is really expensive (something like £50,000) because they haven't started mass producing it yet. I doubt it'll go down much, though.

Also it has no room for a computer, and if you put on in the heat would turn the house into an oven.

At those costs, one may as well procure your own supplies, building permits, and a hireling/buddy/self with an electrical license to make one yourself.

This house is perfect for me. Although I kind of worry about vandalism, security and harassment for being a lonely NEET in a small cube house.

It's the movie for /jp/. The autistic and mentally fucked up are the most important and shall survive to inherit the Earth. Or something like that over how hard they tried to kill everyone else off and make sure the sperglord doesn't get left behind. If only all sperglords were crazy savants huh?

Rather than dealing with autismbux (or lack thereof) governments should purchase thousands of super-cheap NEETcubes and stack them up like tiny cities. Everyone could get one meal a day that they order through their free internet. Maybe they can force them into filling out captchas or something to help fund it.

>stack them up like tiny cities

These are only energy efficient and balanced the way they are because they have the roof-space for solar panels.

This is still engineerable, but the cubes would need new building techniques to stack them into a lattice structure, allowing equal sunlight for each cube. This lattice could then be further improved by doing some light vertical farming on the spaces in-between (using the NEETs' own liquid wastes and composted organic matter as fertilizer.
