Yume Nikki is only boring if you have a short attention spam and don't like symbolism. I like Ao Oni and IB too though.

I don't think I liked Majo no Ie very much. It relied way too much on jump scares. The characterization was also quite weak. Only the witch got any real development

I already have. I liked it a lot. Every jumpscare wasn't OH NO AN ENEMY RUNNING AT YOU NEARLY FASTER THAN YOU CAN REACT like it was in Majo no Ie. The characterization is actually what I was mentally comparing MnI when I said it was weak. It was interesting how you could mold Ib's personality some and see her interact with the other characters

It's really quite a good game. I need to see the other endings already..
