I have literally never seen this view anywhere outside of 4chan. I think a lot of nerdy "beta" males tend to think of anime/manga/VNs as their safe haven away from the real world, and when nasty icky girls like it too, they dont feel as safe and tucked away anymore. It plays on all their insecurities. And thus they do what autists do best when their secret club is compromised - accuse them of being whores.

The problem is that girls DON'T actually like those things, they like the idea of a social/hookup community that sits alongside those things that they can then attention whore in, hence why every cosplayer dreams of outdoing each other in terms of showing off as much skin as possible, even the fatties.

Because you can't think in more abstract terms beyond the immediate, material ramifications of your actions. That's because you're a woman, and are obsessed with sex.

A truly 'sexually free' society was always stifled because it doesn't lead to social stability, to the contrary, it leads to a small proportion of men monopolizing all the women.

Read Boys on the Run. Even shy types get monopolized by that kind of guy. Women are prepared to 'share' a very successful, attractive, top-tier guy, so it makes it very hard for everyone else.

> I think a lot of nerdy "beta" males tend to think of anime/manga/VNs as their safe haven away from the real world, and when nasty icky girls like it too

I can agree with this, I on the other hand tend to compare my level to the said "icky girl"

As long as they match my level I'm okay with them, in other words if they play VNs in Japanese, and have at least 100 days of watching time in anime.

If they do not fulfill these requirements I automatically see them as "sluts" since it's obvious that they haven't put enough time down on their hobby, and from that I draw the conclusion that they're most likely obnoxious low level otaku normals, that just happened to stumble upon the medium on something like Youtube or Facebook.

If they just wanted a social/hookup place, why wouldn't they just go to a club? Or a bar? Do you forget that most people outside of 4chan think of cosplaying as nerdy and pathetic? Its not the sort of thing that tons of well adjusted people flock to just for something to do.

Its almost like you dont think of women as individuals. They're like an animal to you, and every single one of them has the exact same personality and interests. In your mind, it is literally impossible for women to be interested in anime. Every single female that has ever cosplayed or displayed an interest in anything "nerdy" has an ulterior motive.

You're like some kind of conspiracy theorist except instead of aliens and the illumanti its women. Thats a shame, too. Aliens are much more interesting.

Because the competition is tougher there. They can't monopolize attention to the degree they can online/in nerdy circles.

>Every single female that has ever cosplayed or displayed an interest in anything "nerdy" has an ulterior motive.

Because it's true. It's like women who claim they are into makeup/cosmetics and clothes 'for themselves'. As if they'd wear push up bras if there were no men in the world. It's just ego stroking. Everything women do orientates around men.

To be honest with you, I'm sick of you ruining decent groups of male friends. Whenever you stick your noses into our business the behavior of most of the other men changes, they become preening, desperate for attention. The whole dynamic of a group of male friends changes. I never assumed that, you are just delusional.

I'm not even a typical /jp/ beta faggot, women are just fundamentally different than men. If you ignore this, you are not only ignoring the psychology of the sexes but the biology.

Humans are complex systems, small changes internally can completely alter the behavior of a system. The biggest way to see examples of this are to look at individuals on Test and Est and notice their behavioral differences.

Regardless of sex, taking artificial supplements of these hormones will bring out the extremes in behavior, which you can then deduce make up what we call women and men behaviors.

I'll be heading over to Comiket this winter, and I just have some general questions.

What time would you recommend a first-timer arrive at Comiket? I hear it's extremely crowded during opening time, but does that make it any less worth it to try to get in then?

In such a crowded area, is theft normally a problem? If so, how do people deal with it? I would imagine everybody is carrying large wads of cash to buy stuff with.

Since it sounds like the third day is for H-doujinshi, is it not possible to buy it on any other day? What type of booths are there on the other two days?

How much money do people normally bring to Comiket? Is 10,000 yen enough to buy much?

That's all I can think of for now.
Also, anybody is welcome to help answer these questions too. Thanks!

>In such a crowded area, is theft normally a problem?

It's Japan, not a problem.

The stuff being sold on each day isn't as categorized as you seem to think, there's H on sale on each of the 3 days.

One doujinshi commonly costs about \500, use that to estimate. DON'T think you can just use ATM to get more if you run out because there will be a line and it will be long.

It depends on the circle. One one side there are people who say that the circles should be more open to capturing wider audiences, and on the other side there are a lot of people who are very sensitive to artists' rights. But you should keep in mind that most of the circles are not in it for the money (in fact, most of them lose money by selling at comiket).

>>10158489
First of all, the percentage "ero" out of the total number of circles at comiket is not as large as you'd think; about 35%.

That said, my feel is that touhou has more non-ero works than the average, because it includes guidebooks for games, because there's more room for artists creating their own story, and because artists who don't want to draw ero can have a higher chance of selling it if the genre is touhou.
