Touhou Hisoutensoku is the third fighting game in the Touhou Project and like its predecessors, Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, Touhou Hisoutensoku is a collaboration between ZUN and Twilight Frontier. Due to that collaboration, its art was drawn by Alphes and the music was composed by U2 Akiyama, both from Twilight Frontier.

Just all the ones from SWR - Just make sure you have both games downloaded, then open up the configex123 file in the Hisoutensoku folder, change the upper path to the folder that SWR is, and there you go - Now you have the new characters + all the old ones.

If you were impatient, it was pretty low.
I've seen high level impatience. Imagine someone teching 100% of the time and losing 75% of their health. I'm guilty of it as well. I don't think I can teach people anything seeing I forget what occurs most of the matches. I have the worst case of short term memory span man. Though, I'm sure you can learn something out of it. For some reason, I didn't feel the groove when I was picking Reimu. Depends on the hours/time of day that affect my performance I guess.

GGs sorry about that I had to go and if you are serious about learning this game I would suggest learning some more combos for videos and then learn how to deal with certain match ups by fighting other people which is how I learned.

In the beginning you will lose a lot but you will learn!

Yeah I tried reinstalling drivers and using my LS - DP - RS toggle; no dice.

It's some issue about direct input not really working and only xinput being supported. If I manage to figure it out I'll post here for good measure.

And yeah, Sak 3A is good but Suika can j.2A it rather nicely, and most the times 2A on the ground avoids it too so it's a bit of a hazard move, not to mention Suika can 2A under quite a few Sak bullets too, it's a pretty weird matchup really where Sakuya needs to change their game a good bit

You rely very heavily on j5a, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since j5a is really good. About half way through those games I just noticed how frequently you were using it and your mid-air combat become a bit more predictable.

And you tech too much too. Sakuya thrives on airtechs. There's been times when you teched like literally 3-4 times in the air in a row at the same position, and I'd just spam j6a repeatedly to see if you jumped out, and you did. That's a bad habit, man. Work on that. Try to not tech and focus on what to do after you land on the floor, especially against characters like Suwako and Sakuya, that literally lives off of techs.

3 is fine. Really, better to be good with a few than average with a lot, and you do pretty well with the three you run. Keep playing and watch your replays, learn ways to change up your routine. Biggest thing I saw - throw in some down-As with China; they're fast, do great spirit chip on wrongblock and you never tend to attack low so you train your opponent to always block high. Could catch some opponents off guard, especially spirit heavy people like Sakuya.
