I've fantasized about this before. It would work really well with a yandere character.

Being a hikikomori really is a luxury in a way, since you're not paying for your own food and shelter.

The real moral of the story is that you should force yourself to go outside and become increasingly comfortable with working and being around people until you can eventually handle getting a job and supporting yourself, since in reality there's no perfect dream girl to do it for you. It's not a neat and tidy process, but it's one that's inevitable if you want to avoid killing yourself or becoming homeless and potentially dying unintentionally.
