BTW in case you have a ameba account and you are in PIGG there are some excellent VK rooms in the music section where we often play classic tracks in the lower situated rooms (4-10 depending on how busy it is). Always a good oportunity to hear new bands and also hook up with the few gaijins hanging around, if that is your cup of tea.

Does anyone here listen to plastic tree? are there any bands aside from CoTD that have the same sound as their early era stuff? the recent emo rock they turned into after alone again wonderful world just seems to run together too much, they dont have any tracks that particularly stand out anymore, it makes me sad.

I would agree, even though it comes down to personal taste. My two favorite VK songs ever are by Laputa and Luna Sea, not necessarily the most punkish Visual Kei. That being said, DESHABILLZ FOREVER!

Holy fuck I loved those guys. Kaya's solo project had some gems too. I don't know what the hell Hora is doing now.

Speaking of duos that split up, I miss Velvet Eden. Not that new shit that Dada decided to do but old Velvet Eden when it was Kalm on the keyboards. The singer's voice and the style of music complimented each other perfectly and it just wasn't as magical sounding when the lineup changed.

If you liked the darker parts of Schwarz Steins works digging up what Hora did after the split is entirely worth the work. Used to pop up on youtube from time to time. A lot less vocal work onfortunately, but it felt like he allowed himself to go all out, resulting in some really nice tracks.

Its really interesting how they both went to opposite ends of the spectrum after, but its that contrast that i really liked throughout their project together. Does anyone know of any other good bands with a lot of contrast?
