Why don't they just count the votes only in the swing states? I thought that was the only thing that mattered in american politics given that most states are always voting for only one party, and even with a 51% vote for one party, they win all the electoral votes from that state right?
I think that's how it goes, but wouldn't that make your vote really just meaningless? Not that its a bad thing, you cant really trust very dumb people to vote with thought anyways.
