honestly, I've been thinking the same for bandori as a whole, at least when compared to other otaku music (competitor franchises, seiyuu units, idols, etc).
I feel like they've gotten too stuck in the same formula, and while the acoustic tour could have been something to break the mould, I just think that didn't hit the mark either.

Yeah, listening to this made me realize I haven't really been into a song popipa has put out since Returns. Roselia and RAS at least puts out some other songs that I like, even if they are usually a bit generic

I haven't examined the song credits closely, but aren't the bands' music (and lyrics) usually all written by the same people, covers notwithstanding? Makes me wonder if it is the "genres" linked to the style/image of each band that makes them disappointing or exceeding expectations.

For what it's worth, early Pasupare felt less exciting to me compared to Roselia's grandiosity or Afterglow's edginess, but their more recent material and the range of styles/genres that it has covered aside for "generic bubblegum pop" has grown on me.

This is my pure personal take but Amita doesn't feel genuine for me anymore, I enjoyed a lot her old clumsy and low-cost videos but this year she changed all that and it feels a lot more generic and less intimate compared to a couple of years ago
