actually if you look at a few tweets of her that day, prior to that one you see that she entered her own contest to win a signed poster, purposely decreasing the chance of her OWN fans getting the prize, and brushes it off as a joke.
A few fans of her have expressed their disappointment of that behavior, and suddenly she uploads throwback videos of her playing the piano and doing that presentation. Total coincidence and definitely her poor way of damage control to get her fans to forget about the poster thing.
Totally not obvious, she only sees her fans as part of the job, she doesn't actually care.

so, reading through like 50 of that sally girls tweets, and I can already see why she's not popular in japan. way too loud and high maintenance. sure she's (slightly) funny to English speakers, but to japanese people she must seem like she's whinging all day long, while the other members never complain.
