i misinterpreted this as an endorsement because i don't see the point in saying it otherwise. never mind then.

this is a big part of why you are absolute trash at discussion
there is also the fact that you think that discussion is a game to be won

there's nothing trashy about assuming someone is trying to say something actually relevant to a conversation because they're quoting you. i guess i should just try to ignore you next time.

>> No.19484700 [View]

i suggest you go back to the start of this discussion and you'll see nobody ever said that j-j are pointless, we just said it's use is limited when you're starting out and a lot of the time j-e would suffice

you can import epwing dictionaries into yomichan and get j-e and j-j translations at the same time. i forgot where i downloaded the j-j's but you can import them into yomichan using yomichan-import i think.

I'm reading an interview in a magazine and I could use some help interpreting corporate-type talk. In '「Global title production」という立ち位置をより明確にしたいという思いがありました。', does it sound like the company wants to clarify their position regarding their production or strengthen their position? The context is that a creator is being interviewed about why they're creating b when they usually make a.

One more thing about this interview and I'll be out of your hair, sorry.

The context is that they're talking about how hard it was to improve user experience in their software. The person then says '違和感をなくすためにやっているので、その苦労は体感できないと思います(笑)。'. Is this basically a joke about how they experienced hardship so other people wouldn't have to? The use of できない is throwing me off a bit. Thanks for the help.

((その苦労)は(体感できない))と思います
not possible to experience that hardship (because they put effort into eliminating discomfort)
